02/09/2026: A magical place that I highly recommend. A seminar room with a very inspiring sea view. A very attentive welcome from Sebastien, who goes out of his way to meet requests. The restaurant's cuisine is excellent. Pleasant service in a lovely setting. A must-visit if you're in Le Havre.

To make a long story short: I couldn't detect the presence of alcohol in the cocktails, which weren't accompanied by snacks.
Main courses were served with cold sides; the plates were sent back to the kitchen and returned hot, but the sides were still cold. Desserts were nicely presented: the Tarte Tatin and Pavlova were good, but the chocolate fondant was uninteresting. We had two glasses of wine for the table, plus a bottle of sparkling water and a bottle of still water, all for €240, or €60 per person. I find the price disproportionate for this culinary experience, despite the beautiful view and very friendly staff.
12/09/2026: Absolutely disappointed by this restaurant where almost everything is frozen, the worst being the seafood. The langoustines were far too overcooked and clearly frozen.
I pointed this out to the waitress, whose response was: “Sorry the langoustines were overcooked, but as for the shrimp, it’s not our fault, we receive them already cooked!”
I ordered a ribeye steak with maître d’hôtel butter and received a cold, industrial peppercorn sauce in the center.
The mashed potatoes were also frozen.
In short, it’s a real shame because the setting and service are very good, but the food is absolutely not up to the price.

02/04/2024: What a desappointment,
Having already been to Le Chat Bleu, and having had good memories of it, I returned to this restaurant.
Online booking. We tried to call to add 1 place, no answers despite 3 calls.
Once we arrive, we receive a rather cold welcome, we start being told that "it's not going to be possible", then a "go see if you can squeeze in up there".
The table only had 5 place settings, despite our reservation for 7, and a chair was missing.
When we took our order we were told: "No food this evening, only burgers, we're not making falafel fries either. We're not turning on the fryer, it's too hot".
No more excuses.
Quick look around, the customers behind us had fries. We are told that "yes but then it was seen with the boss".
We then ask for the accompaniments with the burger. "Nothing.".
We are served, then she continues her service and comes back with fries for other customers?
The moment of the bill comes when we are asked about our satisfaction, what audacity to answer "no",
response not at all admissible a priori, since "the food was good, wasn't it?".
But when we have service like this, yes we have the right to be unhappy otherwise we would have taken takeaway.
As a bonus, “but it’s a heatwave, you have to think about the people who work”, a heatwave at 20°C.
When we ask for explanations about the fries served at the tables next to us, they are “oven fries”
therefore of "less good quality" and "there would only have been enough for 6", apologies to be reviewed.
In short, half of the menu available (also depending on weather conditions), but good food nonetheless. Above all a big lack of professionalism on the part of the staff.

10/11/2025: While everything isn't perfect yet, for the incredible view from the sea-view room, the very friendly and welcoming service, the quality of the cheeses at breakfast, and the complimentary glass of wine at the bar, I gladly award a fifth star as an encouragement. I look forward to returning!
