05/09/2026: I came in for lunch today, wanting to sit on the terrace, closer to the sea, and enjoy the views. The waiter told me that if I was alone, I should sit at a table out of sight of the sea. I left, considering that an insult.

28/08/2026: The drinks were significantly more expensive than at the more modest establishment located just below on the seafront. Just as we had finished our drinks, the waitress, without warning or asking our opinion, closed the parasol that had been protecting us from the sun. The lack of wind didn't justify closing the parasol. One of the parasol's slats grazed the face of one of us before the waitress even apologized!

26/08/2026: Outdated casino. The young blackjack dealer was lovely and explained everything clearly. The person at the entrance was very friendly, unlike their colleague dealing chips, who was quite unfriendly, even unpleasant. It's a shame for an establishment meant for entertainment to encounter such a sourpuss.

22/08/2026: I found the restaurant by chance. I had very good moules frites and an equally good crème brûlée.

28/05/2026: The rooms with sea views are truly lovely; I fell asleep to the sound of the waves. The hotel has a nice atmosphere. You do have to be prepared to climb a very long flight of stairs from the street, and then another flight or two. But the hotel has a lot of charm. The €10 breakfast is ordinary but adequate, with very friendly staff. The restaurant, however, is another story. It has a beautiful sea view, which is nice. But the prices are high for average quality. And above all, in our case, the service was interminable... an hour between the starter and the main courses... an extra glass of wine that finally arrived when we had finished everything... (with a "you're welcome," seemingly to teach me some manners after my failure to say thank you!). It was very annoying, a shame. We obviously decided against having dessert for fear of being stuck there even longer.

16/05/2026: Television with only one working channel, no hand soap, only one power outlet in the room, breakfast at €10 per person with very limited choices… Cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Only the view from the room is decent. The reception also needs improvement…
