29/03/2026: I booked this restaurant for my daughter's 50th birthday and it was an excellent choice: all the dishes on the menu were delicious and refined, the waiter was very pleasant, and the owner deserves five stars, and more if possible.
29/03/2026: Excellent meal.
Reception: no tables without a reservation on a Saturday - the friendly owner took our phone number to let us know as soon as a table became available. A short walk along the ramparts and we were called. Efficient and totally worth the wait! For starters, bone marrow followed by superb quality rump steak with homemade fries cooked at least twice - we are in northern France after all. Numerous sauces were available to accompany the meat, but I naturally opted for the local Maroilles cheese sauce. Small amuse-bouches while waiting for the starter were a nice touch. The decor was well done, with kitschy paintings like the Mona Lisa with beer foam on her mustache, etc., but it works well with the surrounding woodwork - a truly pleasant atmosphere. Clean restrooms, baby changing facilities. The terrace was spacious, although too cold for the season when we visited, so we stayed inside. The staff was friendly, and the waiter was happy to explain the dishes, the cuisine, etc. I would definitely go back!

27/02/2026: We had a lovely time in this beautifully renovated establishment. The dining room is very pleasant. The separate, refurbished kitchen is a real plus. The dishes are excellent and of high quality, something that's hard to find these days. I had the seafood stew, which was delicious. Well done! I highly recommend it. See you soon!

01/03/2026: So happy with our time at your restaurant! We came as a family to try it out because my mother-in-law had raved about it. I started with the house punch, which was absolutely delicious. Then I had the Welsh rarebit, which was quite strong on the mustard, but I didn't mind it at all. Authentic, homemade cuisine is rare enough to be worth mentioning. The fries were homemade and excellent. The lady who served us was very kind and did her job very well. It's a friendly, family-run restaurant, neither fancy nor pretentious. If you're passing through Péronne, stop by; you won't be disappointed.

24/03/2026: During my meal, I ordered farm-style pasta. Unfortunately, I hadn't read that there was meat in the dish. The waiter agreed to change my plate. However, I found pieces of meat in the new one. I was very disappointed with this restaurant and I won't be returning.

The restaurant didn't deliver my order, which was canceled even though it was placed two hours before closing time. Very poor service.

20/02/2026: A superb hotel in Péronne. We spent one night there and were delighted. We received a very warm welcome and were given room 106. There were two of us, and the room was spacious and very well-equipped. Spotlessly clean. Perfect bedding. The heating had been set before our arrival, and the room was nice and warm.
We had an excellent night's sleep.
The breakfast was also perfect. It had been a long time since we had seen one so comprehensive.
The breakfast hostess was very friendly.
We are not giving our stay five stars because there is one small issue that prevents it from being absolutely perfect.
We collected our key card in the afternoon and did not go to our room immediately. We returned to the hotel at 9:30 p.m. and discovered that our key card was not activated. Fortunately, other guests were checking in at the same time as us, and we were able to contact the night staff, who resolved the problem without delay. It was just a minor mishap, but without the other guests, we would have been left in the cold and rain, unable to get into the hotel.
We will definitely return to this establishment.

02/03/2026: Avoid this place, especially for the price; you can eat better elsewhere with more choice. The dishes were empty, and the replacements took forever. You often find yourself without a plate to refill your order; I think there's a lack of staff and organization. Very limited choices. Very limited cheese and dessert options. On the other hand, a positive point: the waitress was very kind and attentive to customers.
20/02/2026: The “hot” dishes were cold, dry and not much flavor. There was hardly anyone there so could have had the leisure to be "quiet" but the waitress put everyone in a small corner, too bad. Not much choice compared to other buffets in the region.

30/03/2026: Very disappointed because on two orders, the first time we paid for three extra ketchup sauces that we didn't receive, and on the second order they included the ketchup but forgot the sundae we ordered, and on top of that, half the Coke was spilled in the bag. So great! Luckily Burger King is opening soon.
17/03/2026: Green tomato in the cheese that didn't alert the kitchen staff, the raclette cheese didn't even melt, I'm very disappointed

13/07/2024: A completely new experience for us, based on reviews we decided to try our 1st north African meals. Were we disappointed? Absolutely not. Our introduction to Tagines and couscous with Marocan red wine, was an excellent experience. The staff at this restaurant were welcoming and helpful. The lamb shank tagine with vegetables oozed flavour and quality, chicken couscous, excellent. Subtle flavours throughout. Portions were on the large size for us so it was a shared desert of mystique flambé. Smiles all round, service was excellent and judging by the number of customers, it is popular with locals. Pricing was fair for such a meal. More than happy and have no hesitation in recommending.

18/07/2024: If you don't eat too much, it's okay. Too bad we were right next to the back door reserved for smokers, the chairs seem not too sturdy and uncomfortable. The neighboring table was not better received than us despite the reservation being made by regular customers. Having a little water to take medications during meals would have been a plus. See you soon.
