01/12/2025: Excellent culinary experience in this restaurant with dishes that are as generous as they are delicious.
22/11/2025: A very pleasant evening spent at Bistrot d’Antoine
First of all, the decor is unique, a blend of refined elegance and quirky humor, evident in the artwork.
The service was discreet yet attentive! The waitress was always there, in the right place at the right time, and always in good spirits.
(Plus, they moved us to a different table after a cancellation, which saved us from the winter drafts by the door.)
As for the food: Delicious dishes and generous desserts! Alongside our choices, there was a varied menu featuring local specialties!
(A minor point about Chef Thierry's dish: it could have used a few more fries; we're in the north, after all, and they're lacking.)
As for the bar: A wide selection of aperitifs, wines, and digestifs—something for everyone! (A slight misunderstanding regarding some of the prices; the Ricard at 7.5% ABV is a bit steep, especially considering the small price difference with a 12-year-old Chivas 😦)
In short, a very enjoyable experience. We left feeling satisfied for a more than reasonable price (€50 per person - Main Course/Dessert/2 glasses of Wine/Aperitif).
Highly recommended.

08/11/2025: This is not my first visit but my first disappointment, the dessert of the day…not of the day but above all the owner’s jeans were dirtier than a mechanic’s (big stains not from the day…) we expect more hygiene in a restaurant, disappointed.
01/11/2025: A great find whilst driving around the area. Food was excellent. Fixed menu highly recommended.

23/01/2026: We had a wonderful time this Friday.
The Welsh rarebit, the rib-eye steak, and the turkey breast were a hit with everyone.
The food is excellent, the staff very friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I highly recommend this great restaurant! ☺️
16/10/2025: Passing through Peronne for work, I had a goat cheese wrap with homemade fries. A generous dish, very good, and excellent value for money!
The owner was very charming!

18/12/2025: Clean, friendly staff. Decent breakfast.
24/11/2025: We booked a hotel from Saturday to Monday at the Best Western hotel Saint Claude in Peronne because we had car issues and need to stay in a hotel.
On Monday morning, we asked if we could keep the room a little longer (for a fee) because of our pets and did not want to wait in the cold with them. This was not possible because they had to clean the room before 3 p.m. But we could stay in our room for another whole night and pay the full night. Excuse me?
So paying a small fee until 6 p.m. is not possible, but paying for a whole night is?
This made me so sad. We left at 15.30 hours but paid extra night.
The hotel wasn't even fully booked; there were only two couples at breakfast.
We will never complain if something is disappointing, but if you feel that you are not being listened or helped, then of course I will speak up:
We didn't ask for cleaning these days, no extra towels, the breakfast was really bad, empty bins, bread that was already hard, no fresh rolls or anything, and what was full, fruit bowl, came from a tin and was mushy and... also something very special:
We were informed that the hotel is unstaffed from 9 p.m. onwards, so you need a code to enter. To our surprise, this is not only the case in the evening, but also during the day. Imagine if you don't have the code with you during te day.
After we went outside on Sunday at 12 mid day, and returned to find the hotel closed? It was totally dark inside. You could call an emergency number, but no one answered after several attempts? So we stood outside in the cold waiting. Unbelievable...
And besides... they claim to speak English? I don't know who, but they don't bother to try.
You expect people to show a little humanity and be helpful in this situation, but we were completely wrong. We feel that we are not being taken seriously and that we are still being saddled with more extra costs.

15/01/2026: I've rarely seen a Chinese restaurant so outdated, both in its appearance and its food! The crab claw was poorly thawed and swimming in water, and the menu was very basic with no restocking.
As for the wok, the cook was unfriendly and rushed through the selection.
Luckily, I didn't order any sauces, because when I saw that after serving one customer, he was putting the leftover sauce from the wok back into his sauce pot for the next customer, I was shocked! Fantastic!
Never again, avoid at all costs!
PS: Phew, I'm not sick tonight! That's something! And they opened a bottle of wine at my table while I wasn't there.
04/01/2026: It's a shame there's a slight general decline; perhaps a good renovation would be necessary to revive this essential establishment in Péronne.

Disappointed
17/01/2026: Today was the day I finally tried this McDonald's. Upon arrival, I was a little worried about finding a seat, as the restaurant is rather small.
However, the service was very fast, less than 5 minutes, although in the kitchen, speed shouldn't be confused with rushing. It was difficult to eat the Leaning Tower of Pisa (triple cheeseburger). Overall, a good experience at this restaurant, except for… the manager who belittled his team members in front of customers. That, on the other hand, is really unacceptable! Knowing that the lunch rush was over, and then hearing him complain about sick leave in the background, his management style definitely warrants some serious self-reflection.
Luckily, the staff were much friendlier, which allowed me to have a good time despite this unpleasant experience.

13/07/2024: A completely new experience for us, based on reviews we decided to try our 1st north African meals. Were we disappointed? Absolutely not. Our introduction to Tagines and couscous with Marocan red wine, was an excellent experience. The staff at this restaurant were welcoming and helpful. The lamb shank tagine with vegetables oozed flavour and quality, chicken couscous, excellent. Subtle flavours throughout. Portions were on the large size for us so it was a shared desert of mystique flambé. Smiles all round, service was excellent and judging by the number of customers, it is popular with locals. Pricing was fair for such a meal. More than happy and have no hesitation in recommending.

27/08/2024: We had some apprehensions about cooking the pizzas given the previous comments, but everything was perfect.
The pizzas were well stocked and cooked to perfection, no complaints. So you don't always have to trust comments! I recommend, images speak more than words.. ☺️

26/08/2024: Very generous restaurant. Delicious food. On the other hand, you shouldn't be in too much of a hurry.
18/07/2024: If you don't eat too much, it's okay. Too bad we were right next to the back door reserved for smokers, the chairs seem not too sturdy and uncomfortable. The neighboring table was not better received than us despite the reservation being made by regular customers. Having a little water to take medications during meals would have been a plus. See you soon.
