05/05/2026: BAR === Nice bar and they do a very nice Hugo. AMBIENCE ======== Hmm. I’ve been a few times and when there was a pianist (Charles the pianist) the vibe was electric. Cool, inclusive and interesting. But I went there in May 26 and without the live music I felt it was missing a little je ne sais quoi. FOOD ===== Didn’t try the food but it looked good. WHY 4 STARS =========== Well, I would have given 5 but for the lack of music. I will revisit and perhaps revise this up to 5 or down to 3 stars. Watch this space.

06/04/2026: We booked Soul Brothers for our father's 60th birthday, and it was a complete success. The venue ticked all the boxes: centrally located and easily accessible, warm and intimate, with the option of live music, perfect for our 45 guests, most of whom were professional musicians. The buffet, drinks, and cake package was excellent, and the staff were remarkably kind and professional. A wonderful evening, organized by people who truly know their stuff. I recommend it 1000%.

14/07/2026: Yesterday we were with some young people for a football activity, etc... the lack of air conditioning made it incredibly hot, otherwise the place is nice

05/07/2026: Overall, the service was good, but I'm giving it a bad rating due to the numerous technical problems. There are frequent screen malfunctions, resulting in video issues. Despite these recurring problems, no compensation or price reduction has been offered. This is truly regrettable considering the price.

27/05/2026: After our main course, the waiter came to ask if we wanted dessert. We said we would. He then verbally presented us with the dessert list. We asked if all these desserts were included in the set menu. The waiter assured us that they were. So we chose the "café gourmand" (a selection of small desserts served with coffee). When it came time to pay, we were told it wasn't part of the same set menu and that we would have to pay an extra €2. We explained that we hadn't received the dessert menu when we ordered it. He replied that we had received it at the very beginning and added that he didn't know of any restaurant that offered the "café gourmand" at the same price as the other desserts. It was indeed listed on the menu, despite what the waiter had said. We regret the lack of consistency between the table service and the billing process.

10/07/2026: We were in Créteil for a dance competition and dined at this restaurant all three nights of our stay. Everything was delicious! The food was excellent and the portions generous. The welcome was particularly warm, the entire team was very friendly, and the service was quick. We had a wonderful time at every meal. A truly great find that we highly recommend. If we return to Créteil, we will definitely go back!

09/07/2026: The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is spacious. The dishes are well-prepared and tasty, but some might find them lacking in salt. It seems to me that the à la carte dishes are served without sides and are meant to be shared, which makes choosing difficult when you're only ordering for one person. Unfortunately, you end up choosing much simpler and more generic dishes. This restaurant is simple and unpretentious. I'll come back sometime.
