28/03/2024: Worst experience in a restaurant I have ever had. Where to start . I went to this restaurant with my wife because good friends recommended it to me. I was first seated at a table at the back of the main room, a minute later the waiter apologized and asked us if it was possible to change places (very pleasant and kind waiter throughout). service elsewhere) my wife and I kindly follow him. He installed us in an empty room isolated from everyone where we were monitored throughout the service. The other servers looked under the table at our hands as if we were hiding food. The food wasn't exceptional, but we almost finished it all. You should know that for each excess of waste it is indicated that for each quantity of food wasted it will cost 3 euros. Almost, 2 forks of fried noodles, a dish which arrived cold and full of oil at the bottom of the plate. When we went to checkout we met a gentleman who took the liberty of asking us if we had all finished. So I told him that there were a few noodles left. He told me directly that the bill would increase by 3 euros for 2 bites. Surprised by this absurdity, we asked for explanations and were told that it was to avoid waste. The exchange was of no use I paid but I will not put a single cent back in this restaurant. Ladies and gentlemen, flee.

25/03/2024: La Pergola Sushi Restaurant offers an enjoyable Japanese dining experience with charming decor and quality dishes. However, despite these positive points, the service seriously leaves something to be desired. The restaurant owners seem more concerned with their heavy-handed jokes trying to force customers' hands into 'whiskey and coke' type cocktails than with customer satisfaction... it is extremely frustrating to constantly be confronted with repeated announcements of shortage of salmon on each visit for a Japanese restaurant supposed to be “all you can eat”. This unprofessional attitude greatly detracts from the overall experience and makes it almost impossible to recommend this restaurant despite its other qualities.
