14/06/2026: A magnificent, idyllic spot with a lake view, pleasant staff, friendly service, and very good desserts (daily specials or à la carte). Closed Sunday evenings. If you go, you'll want to go back. I recommend booking in advance.

The tea room gets a bad rating because we ordered three drinks: two Schweppes citrus juices plus a half-pint of shandy, and three very good pastries offered to us on a tray by the owner. We did choose, but what shocked us afterward was that we weren't given a tea room menu to see the prices and selection. Surprise, surprise, the price, without even asking for a receipt, was €42. Well, perhaps that's fair, but ask for the menu when you go to the tea room in the afternoon to order a drink and a delicious pastry.
