04/10/2026: An absolutely wonderful experience at Au Pain Gourmand with Ludovic! We organized a kougelhopf workshop for our group as part of our language immersion trip to Alsace, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Ludovic welcomed us with great kindness and enthusiasm. He explained all the steps involved in making authentic Alsatian kougelhopf, patiently answering our many questions. The workshop was friendly, informative, and delicious, and above all, entirely in French—exactly what we were looking for for our American group! A truly wonderful way to discover not only an Alsatian specialty, but also the expertise and passion of a local artisan. Thank you, Ludovic, for your warm welcome, your generosity, and this wonderful memory of Obernai. We highly recommend this experience! ❤️🥨🇫🇷
