I've had the most authentic Chongqing cuisine in Paris!
The chef recently returned, and the food is absolutely delicious!
I especially recommend their newest dish – "Knife-a-Duck"! One dish lets you sample all sorts of dry pot dishes: duck necks, duck wings, chicken feet, spare ribs, and even the unassuming fried sweet potato fries at the bottom of the pot are sweet, fragrant, and flavorful – a delightful surprise!

This isn't my first time at this restaurant; I even sang karaoke here a long time ago. (Yes, they have three private karaoke rooms.)
This time, I ordered braised duck, boiled fish, Kung Pao shrimp, garlic water spinach, pickled pepper chicken giblets, and pork intestines.
This dining experience can be summed up as, "Dao Restaurant in District 13 gave me a fantastic meal again! It was so delicious!"

Another trip to China with my girlfriend! This time it was to Dao Restaurant. I'd heard it was famous for Chinese food in Paris and was really looking forward to it. And it was so delicious I almost cried!
We ordered four dishes, each one memorable:
• Fu Dao Pocket Tofu: A feast for the eyes, nose, and palate, melts in your mouth, and has incredibly delicate seasoning;
• Sliced Beef and Offal in Chili Sauce: Rich in numbing and spicy flavor, with distinct layers of flavor—very authentic;
• Knife-Pound Duck: A generous portion, perfect for digging into many pieces and enjoying slowly. Spicy and satisfying! It's a shame we went at lunchtime, otherwise we would have definitely ordered several beers. In short, highly recommended!
• Shredded Pork with Garlic Sauce: I must say, the flavor was absolutely authentic, incredibly delicious with rice, making it hard to resist eating more than a few bites.
Overall, I was very satisfied with the meal, and I completely understand why this restaurant is always packed—it truly has the quality and confidence to be a top choice. It's already on my must-visit list.

No wonder it's a restaurant that even the president visits. Every dish is exquisite, especially the new "Knife-a-Duck" dish, which is so addictive that you can't stop eating it. Every dish is freshly stir-fried and has a wonderful wok hei (wok aroma). It's the pinnacle of Sichuan cuisine in Paris!

This restaurant specializes in authentic Chongqing cuisine and doesn't make any changes to its flavors to cater to the French market. They just serve the genuine Chongqing flavors, without any pre-made ingredients. Every dish is cooked to order! 👍 Several friends have recommended it, saying it's a really delicious restaurant. By the way, they also offer free unlimited rice! I heard their portions are huge. When they first served the tofu and beef tenderloin (the spicy and numbing flavor was authentic! The beef was also very tender, highly recommended!), I thought it was okay. But the second dish, the Sichuan pepper fish (I personally love this dish; the fish slices were very tender, and the numbing sensation was amazing. I ate it the whole time 😋), the bowl was absolutely shocking! It was a bowl four times the size of my face! We also ordered the restaurant's new dish, "Knife-a-Duck" (the restaurant owner explained that the recipe originated from a district in the Sichuan-Chongqing region, using duck necks, wings, chicken feet, and spare ribs as the main ingredients, stir-fried with 32 kinds of spices over high heat, resulting in a very unique taste; the sweet potato side dish under the meat was also delicious!). We also had a plate of refreshing garlic water spinach to relieve the spiciness and greasiness. In the end, we basically finished everything!

This long-established Chinese restaurant, helmed by a top-notch chef, boasts consistently high-quality dishes.
The new "Knife-a-Bite Duck" is generously portioned, with a fragrant yet not greasy chili oil; the "Husband and Wife Lung Slices" are flavorful, and the "Fish-Fragrant Shredded Pork" is one of the best in Paris.
