Honestly, 5 Pailles is the best. The owner offered me a coffee like we were already best friends. Chill atmosphere, cool vibes, free coffee… I was this close to settling in for the whole day. Definitely a winner.

Best cold brew in Paris - strong and complex. Order the sunnyside up pancake stack if your craving sweet and savory! Great poached eggs too!! Glad to find nothing has changed since the last time I was here pre-covid.

14/08/2026: The best scrambled eggs I've ever eaten! I only come for that!
05/08/2026: UPDATE Change of hours for August. Opens at 10:00 AM now...it's 9:30 AM...everything is open, including the doors. The staff is there and informs me that Cojean is closed...opening the till would have been quicker than telling me it's closed and putting a sign on the door!! Super welcoming, friendly, and smiling team And quality Cojean products 👍

The Place to...

04/09/2026: I've been going to this place for years, and I've found that the quality has declined over time. The new menu isn't as appealing as the old one, and the food isn't as good either. Prices are going up... but the overall experience has become disappointing. The service is inconsistent, depending on the server.
30/08/2026: Originally came for brunch, but it's not available during August. In the end, I ordered a good burger, cooked just right. The restaurant has a pleasant terrace and the staff are friendly.
