The team is incredibly welcoming, always smiling, and offers excellent advice. As for the food, it's a feast for the senses. You can immediately taste their love for local produce and homemade dishes. The portions are generous, flavorful, and do justice to the richness of Corsican cuisine with true finesse. Special mention goes to the perfectly cooked dishes and the freshness of the ingredients. The setting is charming, ideal for unwinding after a good day's hike in the Restonica Valley or the citadel's narrow streets. In short, a five-star experience, both personally and gastronomically. You'll leave with a full stomach and a smile on your face. Thank you for this wonderful experience; we'll definitely be back!

We visited A Funtana during our stay in Corte and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We had the Gigot d'Agneau and the Côte de Manzu and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The quality of the meat was outstanding and everything tasted fresh. The atmosphere was just as memorable as the food. We loved sitting by the fountain, listening to the sound of the running water while enjoying our meal. The restaurant has a beautiful, authentic setting that makes you want to stay for hours. A special thank you to our waiter, Charly, who was very attentive, friendly and made us feel very welcome throughout the evening. He even asked me what my favorite French luxury brand was and then wrapped our leftovers in what we jokingly called a "YSL aluminum bag" 😂 If you're in Corte and looking for authentic Corsican food, this place is an absolute must. We would happily come back!
