I had a wonderful time; the food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. A lovely touch was the complimentary salad and slice of rillettes as a starter. Remember to book ahead!

Never disappointed. Friendly atmosphere. Homemade beef meatballs and breaded chicken fillet au gratin with bacon, tomatoes, and Maroilles cheese. Delicious! 🥰

19/06/2026: Superb place, very friendly welcome and excellent cuisine
05/06/2026: Superb establishment! The atmosphere is great, the service is quick. And what can I say about the veal escalope with Maroilles cheese? It's simply excellent! (For those with a sweet tooth who are still hungry after that, the sugar tart is highly recommended!) I'll definitely be back!

La brasserie historique de l'abbaye du Cateau

31/05/2026: More than average. The starter was served before the champagne glasses, which we had to ask for. The meal was okay. For dessert, we could still hear the coffee we never got... The restaurant was incredibly noisy. We won't be back if we have to ask for things every few minutes; it's exhausting.
14/05/2026: A lovely place for a good meal with friendly service 🌸
