A La Musau sur Strasbourg

We chose this restaurant for an event with about 25 guests, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. We were welcomed with great warmth and professionalism. The entire team was remarkably kind, always smiling, attentive, and caring towards each of our guests. The food was excellent, and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed it. We received nothing but compliments on the quality of the cuisine and the atmosphere. Thanks to the whole team, we had an unforgettable time in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Excellent experience! I had a wonderful meal; the dishes were delicious. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Special mention to the owner, who is simply extraordinary: warm, smiling, and passionate. You really feel at home in this establishment. I will gladly return and highly recommend it!

A somewhat underwhelming experience, this return to lunch on the terrace of the Musauer Stub. The "Sunday Menu" is a good choice in terms of both selection and price. The starters (Gravlax and Ceviche) were well-presented and executed. The main course, scallops on risotto with peas, was good! So why "somewhat underwhelming"? The memory of a Sunday table set with quality linens, even on the terrace, is now a thing of the past. Not even a decent placemat; service was direct onto the laminate table, which, while certainly good quality, felt a bit rough. I admit the cost of this laundering service is considerable. The dessert, whose execution seemed far less refined than that of the preceding courses, was simply placed on the table in a bowl without even a saucer. The wines offered by the glass, varietal wines described as Viognier and Chardonnay from Languedoc, were brought directly without any tasting or presentation of the bottle: perhaps a bag-in-box, no big deal. We could have asked to see the bottle, but based on our memories, we let them. The overall impression was somewhat mixed, with pleasant dishes and somewhat lackluster side dishes compared to our previous experiences there. It really takes very little to regain a touch of class. The price and quality remain reasonable, which is why these ****/5 are an encouragement.

A very enjoyable time tasting the dishes

The Sunday lunch menu was delicious. The service was impeccable, the wine selection varied, and the setting simply magnificent—a real change of scenery, you wouldn't think you were in Strasbourg. We loved our first visit and we'll be back very soon! Thank you!

Impeccable and highly professional service from Charles, who took excellent care of us. The hanger steak was cooked perfectly and the fries were wonderfully crispy. I will definitely be back.
