Far from the image of the rather overrated port restaurants, we weren't disappointed to have stopped here.
A mix of refined dishes and very reasonable prices: €28 for the set lunch menu (starter + main course)

A mixed experience, but still positive.
The pros: the sea view and the friendly service.
The cons: the portion sizes (small portions) and the taste of the food, which wasn't amazing (but not bad).
However, the price of the set menu is unbeatable.

Very disappointed, especially since we used to go there regularly... We arrived at 8:30 pm... our main course was served at 9:45 pm and dessert at 10:30 pm. The restaurant wasn't full.
Some tables that were seated after our arrival were served much earlier and had finished their meals while we still hadn't been served...
Furthermore, the prices have gone up considerably... numerous €3 surcharges...
This excellent restaurant, like so many others, is becoming a tourist trap!

A lovely table was reserved right by the sea. The welcome was excellent, and the food was very good. The service was a little slow, but that allowed us to enjoy the moment more. The menu was a bit unpredictable that evening, as many dishes ran out during service. But the summery atmosphere more than made up for the disappointment of not being able to order the dishes we wanted.

For me, by far the best restaurant in La Flotte.
Efficient and discreet service.
Fresh, generous, and delicious food. A sublime setting with the sunset... A must-try, and I'll definitely be back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful discovery at La Plancha!
We had a fantastic time at La Plancha as a family of two adults and two children. As we use electric wheelchairs, terrace accessibility and a warm welcome were important to us, and everything went very smoothly. 👍
The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and generous, and the whole family thoroughly enjoyed them. 😋
But the real highlight was the magnificent ocean view 🌊: a superb setting that made the meal even more enjoyable and a true escape.
A friendly team, an exceptional setting, and top-notch cuisine: we left with wonderful memories of our visit to Île de Ré.
We highly recommend La Plancha without hesitation! ❤️

Excellent restaurant, superb cuisine, attentive and very friendly staff – we were delighted to have chosen to stop there.
This restaurant perfectly matches our tastes: a limited menu, guaranteeing fresh and expertly prepared ingredients, a sensory experience, and just the right portion sizes, which help avoid food waste.
Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect. The food was excellent, both in taste and quantity. The service was efficient and welcoming. There was a sea view. The prices were reasonable for the location. A wonderful experience. We will be back.
