23/04/2026: We came for lunch today. It was a wonderful experience. The welcome was perfect, the service impeccable, and every dish excellent, every single one was superb. Thank you again for letting us enjoy the 7-course menu; it was incredible and very refined. Currently rated 1 star, but in our opinion, it deserves more like 1 or 2! I highly recommend your restaurant!

27/05/2026: On the port of La Flotte en Ré, a warm welcome and friendly service await you. The scallop menu was delicious (the scallops were cooked to perfection) and the dessert was superb! A must-visit on the island!

Just one small disappointment... the fries... fresh ones would have been nice.
Don't hesitate if you're in the area.

30/06/2026: Our third visit over three holidays to ile de re and is a must for us, as it has been the best meal we have had on each trip. Only a short walk from the campsite, so don't miss out on this hidden gem. Quite a small menu with well-cooked home food served with a smile. Check out the opening times, before visiting.
03/06/2026: A reasonably priced meal, very good and pleasant service, it's a shame the signage isn't better. See you soon!

18/07/2026: A fantastic location right on the bay with a stunning view. The grilled sea bass was superb. We would especially like to commend Bernard's outstanding service: exceptionally attentive, friendly, and cheerful, yet pleasantly discreet. We felt completely at ease.

19/07/2026: Everything was perfect. The food was excellent, both in taste and quantity. The service was efficient and welcoming. There was a sea view. The prices were reasonable for the location. A wonderful experience. We will be back.

22/06/2026: We enjoyed a divinely prepared blue lobster in a beautiful setting with lovely waiters. We highly recommend this restaurant!
15/06/2026: Just passing through. Booked a table in the afternoon. Very pleasant restaurant overlooking the harbor. The three waiters were very friendly. The beef was incredibly tender no matter how it was cooked, and the homemade fries were just as good! I highly recommend it!

Some people didn't know the price per kilo of their chocolates; especially this morning, April 14, 2026.
12/04/2026: As a regular customer, I appreciate the products and the professionalism of most of the sales staff.
However, I must mention two much less pleasant salespeople, those on duty on April 12, 2026, at 6:30 PM. They were not pleasant at all.

04/07/2026: Romantic weekend on Île de Ré, we had lunch at the port. The location was lovely. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was very unpleasant because of the Formula 1 car playing in the background. We couldn't even have a quiet conversation.
Awful.
Despite the very friendly waiters.

29/06/2026: A complete rip-off!! €30: a diabolo, a fuze tea, 5 slices of cheese, and 5 chicken wings. Counter service only, unpleasant and mocking staff. In short, a tourist trap. Bone-filled chicken for €10... Le Bariolé is to be avoided at all costs!!! For the same price at lunchtime, we had lunch at "La Fiancée du Pirate" right next door and we were delighted (see my review).
