Excellent value for money! The hotel is modern, well-maintained, and the rooms are quite nice. The welcome is warm and friendly, with a sort of lounge area and a pool table available. A hammam and jacuzzi (not mentioned on the website, unfortunately) are available even in winter. The breakfast is very good! I highly recommend it. The only drawback was a slight noise (like dripping water) in the room, which the staff took good care of.

We stayed with our dog for a weekend in January. The hotel is very well located, just a 5-minute walk from the center of Villard-de-Lans. The hotel staff are lovely, and the breakfast is very good. A big plus is the wellness area (hammam, sauna, and jacuzzi) after a good day of hiking. And best of all, the hotel is pet-friendly!

15/03/2026: Your restaurant is one of our rituals when we come to Villard-de-Lans. We visit at least twice a year, and your establishment is a must for us. We greatly appreciate your cuisine, the atmosphere, and your overall ambiance, which always make our visits a very pleasant experience. However, this weekend we were a little disappointed. We left with a rather high bill for two people and were expecting a small gesture of goodwill. It's a shame, as it contrasts with the warm and attentive image we've always associated with your establishment.

La Taverne

08/02/2026: We were lucky with this restaurant once again. Looking for a place to try local ravioli, we stopped at La Taverne and had a wonderful meal. The service was attentive and welcoming, just like being at home. This is truly an establishment that deserves to be better known and attract more customers.
02/02/2026: Not very friendly, but the pizzas aren't bad.
