31/08/2026: Passing through the area, this was a wonderful discovery. Fresh, locally sourced products in generous portions. Amidst the repetitive restaurants in the area offering fondue and raclette... this restaurant truly stands out!

29/08/2026: ⭐ Very disappointing I've been to this crêperie many times before without any problems, but this time was a huge disappointment. We arrived at 9:40 pm on a Saturday night, even though Google indicated a closing time of 11:30 pm, and were told it was too late to serve crêpes and that they only had gratins left. For a gratin, I would have chosen another place… If service really does stop much earlier, update your hours on Google. A little more friendliness would also have been appreciated. It's a shame for a place I used to like… It seems the service is no longer up to par.

05/10/2026: We came as a group and had a fantastic evening! The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was incredibly friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for a truly enjoyable evening, I highly recommend checking them out and soaking up the atmosphere! A huge thank you from the Ardèche firefighters for your warm welcome, your good humor, and the wonderful time we spent together! PS: The shooters are definitely worth trying 😉

The chef surprised us with his flavor combinations and masterful preparation... whether it was the main courses or desserts... it was a delight. We will definitely return, and you can walk through the door with complete confidence.

30/06/2026: What a great find! Passing through at the end of my motorcycle road trip, I truly enjoyed everything here. The location, quite secluded in Bois Barbu, is peaceful and perfect for relaxing. I love the layout of both the grounds and the inn itself. My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The comfort is definitely appreciated. The half-board meals are home-cooked, prepared with quality ingredients. The dishes are appetizing and delicious. A garage is available for bicycles and motorcycles, which is a nice touch. A place to definitely remember in the area!

30/06/2026: What a pleasure it was to stay at the Auberge des Montauds! We received a warm, welcoming, and friendly reception that immediately made us feel at home. Located above Villard-de-Lans, the inn offers a peaceful setting in the heart of nature. If you're looking for tranquility, greenery, and a real breath of fresh air, you'll be delighted. It's also a little paradise for motorcyclists. Our room, while modest in size, was very comfortable and perfectly suited to our stay. We also greatly appreciated the shaded terrace, ideal for enjoying the excellent half-board meals, which were generous and carefully prepared. Breakfast was equally delicious, varied, and plentiful—the perfect way to start the day. A big thank you to the entire team for their kindness and hospitality. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and will gladly return to continue exploring this magnificent region. Brigitte & Serge

23/06/2026: The host is a good chef and a excellent gardener, the dinner was perfect. If he puts in the same effort he pours into his food and vegetable garden into the rest of the hotel it will be a legendary place! And they will both be very busy! Merci.

14/09/2026: A very good little restaurant serving mountain specialties as well as great burgers. The decor is lovely and appropriate for the season, and the service is warm and friendly. The dishes were very good and generous; I highly recommend the "Pêla du gourmand" (a type of savory tartare), which was excellent! 100% recommended!

10/09/2026: I had a traditional raclette with unlimited cheese, quite generously topped and very good. My partner had the cheesemonger's pelt, which was a little bland (perhaps lacking in Bleu du Vercors cheese), and a side salad that was too small. For dessert, we had the "Gourmand" ice cream and a Mont Blanc crêpe, both very satisfying. Otherwise, the restaurant is pleasant and the service very good.

Mark's cooking is truly excellent: a touch of Sardinia, a hint of the Ardèche, a dash of England, not to mention the regional specialties… All fresh ingredients, you'll be spoiled for choice! And above all, Marianica's warm welcome is priceless! A fantastic evening! Try it without hesitation!

02/04/2026: Looking for a 4-day solo getaway without a car at the end of March, I found the perfect hotel: - very well located: all shops, cinema, and bus station are less than a 5-minute walk away; hiking trails start from a 10-minute walk. - half-board or full-board options available (perfect after hiking); - simple hotel and rooms (hence the attractive price) but it has everything you need; - the best part: attentive owners and a friendly, family atmosphere

17/05/2026: A lovely hotel in a great location (5 minutes from the center). Alexandre provided an excellent welcome and helpful recommendations; he's also a master of scrambled eggs. Breakfast is excellent, and the sauna and hammam are a real bonus. I highly recommend it! :-)

21/04/2026: We booked a room for two people from April 11th to 12th through Booking.com for €136.85, without breakfast, but we ended up with a single room for €85. It seems to us that management could have offered a discount on breakfast! What a shame...

23/08/2026: As vacationers looking to avoid the crowded terraces in the city center, we stumbled upon this unassuming little restaurant. We had a delicious and hearty royal couscous for €16. The owner is friendly and generous. Since he makes everything himself, there might be a bit of a wait, but it's well worth it. Everything is homemade.

08/08/2026: A must-try. The owner alone is worth the trip, but not only that (the meat is prepared fresh, not imported frozen from Germany like in most restaurants of this type). Drinks are offered at pay-what-you-want prices, or "manu-charged" 😝. It was summer and I didn't feel like eating tartiflette on the crowded terraces… The best idea was to go down this little alley and discover this place and an atypical chef, chatty, funny, and approachable, with his own vision (am I being judgmental? I'm just expressing my opinion).
