A true gem in the heart of the charming village of Schnersheim. We spent a wonderful summer evening in this superb, characterful Alsatian farmhouse. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the setting: a beautiful, peaceful, and inviting terrace that encourages you to fully enjoy the moment in an authentic and welcoming atmosphere. As for the food, everything was perfect. The tarte flambée, offered on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, is delicious and prepared according to the purest Alsatian tradition. The hanger steak with shallot sauce was remarkable: perfectly cooked, tender meat, and a flavorful sauce. A real treat. The wine list also deserves special mention, with a fine selection that perfectly complements the dishes. And to finish the meal, the desserts were simply excellent, providing the ideal finishing touch to this wonderful experience. A truly wonderful experience at this restaurant. Upon arrival, you're greeted by a beautiful, typically Alsatian red facade and a large, semi-covered terrace. Inside, you immediately feel at ease in an atmosphere that is both open and discreet, and very tasteful. The welcome is top-notch, very warm, and always with a smile. The service is excellent and attentive. The cuisine is perfectly executed, using high-quality, fresh, and mostly local ingredients. Everything was excellent, with elegant presentation. We returned as a family for my birthday. We all had a wonderful time, as usual. The staff were very friendly and always attentive. What we particularly appreciated was the chef's rounds of the tables. I highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back.
