We stopped there as a family during a short trip to Alsace. The waiter was very friendly, the kitchen was able to accommodate my mother's special requests, and the dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. No complaints whatsoever! 😁

IMPECCABLE! The service was perfect, the food was very good, and it was excellent value for money. The setting in the schoolyard gave it real charm (and allowed our children to run around nearby). (Don't rely on older reviews; there was a change of ownership a few years ago.)

A wonderful evening! The cuisine was excellent, both traditional and inventive. The staff were incredibly attentive. In the summer, tables are set up just across the street in the courtyard of the small school, under the trees – a perfect little bucolic touch. We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful discovery! A slightly out-of-the-way restaurant, a small terrace in a schoolyard... Delicious food, great value for money, and the friendly staff. I highly recommend it.

In a word, EXCELLENT! Warm welcome with truly lovely staff. The burger was very generous and delicious. Very pleasant location under the trees in the schoolyard. Highly recommended!

Au Vieux Porche

21/08/2026: Lunch with baby Beautiful house, excellent service, and superb food. The high chair was already at the table with cutlery and a special cup. We shared an appetizer, which they had already divided into individual portions. Wine by the glass, reasonably priced compared to other restaurants. Go through the restrooms; the cellar below is very nice.
21/08/2026: We had a good evening at Au Vieux Porche. The staff was very friendly and polite. The setting on the terrace is very nice. We struggled a bit with the food, though. It looked great but the taste was not so much to our liking. 3 out of 5 main dishes were just OK, 1 was very good, 1 disliked. They were either too blunt or, in the case of the vegetables, bitter. Maybe we were just unlucky.

23/07/2026: A restaurant not to be missed, exceptional cuisine, impeccable service! Everything was perfect!
21/07/2026: Absolutely perfect! A must-visit culinary stop in Eguisheim. I recommend the baby Munster cheese as a starter (we shared it between two) and the sauerkraut with meat, which is simply incredible ☺️
