We had a good evening at Au Vieux Porche. The staff was very friendly and polite. The setting on the terrace is very nice. We struggled a bit with the food, though. It looked great but the taste was not so much to our liking. 3 out of 5 main dishes were just OK, 1 was very good, 1 disliked. They were either too blunt or, in the case of the vegetables, bitter. Maybe we were just unlucky.

Lunch with baby
Beautiful house, excellent service, and superb food. The high chair was already at the table with cutlery and a special cup. We shared an appetizer, which they had already divided into individual portions. Wine by the glass, reasonably priced compared to other restaurants.
Go through the restrooms; the cellar below is very nice.

An exceptional gastronomic experience in the heart of Eguisheim! The setting is simply magnificent, blending the historic charm of a former wine estate with a warm and intimate atmosphere. The food is flawless: traditional Alsatian cuisine is revisited with a modern touch and remarkable finesse. The portions are generous and the wine list is excellent. Special mention goes to the impeccable, attentive, and highly recommended service. A must-visit for escaping the tourist crowds and enjoying a truly memorable experience. Reservations are recommended!

We didn't want the usual tourist restaurant but something a little more unique, and after reading the reviews, we booked right here.
A very elegant and intimate location.
Delicious dishes and impeccable service.
We were also traveling with our small children, and I must say the children's menu was anything but predictable.

If you visit Eguisheim, au vieux porche is an excellent choice. The lively food, the excellent service, the spacious terrace and plenty of good local wines for an acceptable price. We took the menu and every course tasted great. Highly recommended
