Beautiful authentic restaurant in a gorgeous setting away from the tourist crowds. Top quality food and wine, lovely service.

Everything about this restaurant is just right. Beautiful ambiance, excellent food, good value for money, and very pleasant service. It's one of the few restaurants in Eguisheim serving French cuisine rather than typical Alsatian fare. Although you can certainly find Alsatian specialties there as well.

Wonderful restaurant. Beautiful dining rooms and a garden terrace. Market-fresh, excellent cuisine with regional dishes, elegantly presented and served. The attentive service, the well-stocked wine list, and the friendly staff make us want to return; we'll gladly come back.

Food was amazing. We had the three course dinner with wine choices of the house sommelier. Reccommend to ask for local wines from te village! Staff was very friendly and professional. Reccommended to make a reservation 1 or 2 days beforehand.

Birthday meal with friends and family. A wonderful discovery: refined and original cuisine, attentive service, meal served in an adjoining room, beautiful setting. I'll definitely be back.

Le Caveau des Douceurs

30/12/2025: We tried the pork and the chicken. The pork didn’t suit our taste, and the chicken was quite tough, likely overcooked. Service was friendly, but the dishes missed the mark for us.
23/12/2025: We just left this little restaurant with the yellow storefront, at the end of a small square that should be renamed "Happiness Square" because the welcome, the selection of dishes, and the wine all contribute to a particularly pleasant and delicious experience. The sauerkraut is truly excellent, and the breaded chicken is "to die for," according to our daughter. The chocolate mousse is the perfect ending to this treat. Go in, and you'll leave with a smile on your face.
