After a walk in the hills, we ended up on the terrace of A L'Auberge in La Tagnière. As a result, we had a wonderful Sunday afternoon. We hadn't made a reservation, but fortunately, we were allowed to sit down. The food was honest, beautiful, and very flavorful. The artisanal iced tea was delicious. We also liked the rosé.
We had the set menu.
At €29.50, it seemed expensive, but for that price, we had three courses that were particularly flavorful.
The service was very friendly.
Although there was a language barrier because I didn't know a few words in French, everything turned out fine in the end.
I highly recommend dining here.
Down-to-earth, honest cuisine away from the hustle and bustle. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, and the service is very warm and welcoming. If you're looking for uncomplicated, classic food in an authentic setting, this is the place for you. A very solid inn that we highly recommend!
It's not "fine dining," but rather the kind of place where the postman and the policeman eat and celebrate their birthdays – and that's a compliment! ;)
Delicious and reasonably priced Easter menu, well done! It makes me want to come back. Thank you for the service and your smiles, keep up the good work!
