A l'Auberge sur La Tagniere

We came to share a meal with friends and ended up having a wonderful experience. A superb setting in a beautiful village. Simple yet delicious dishes, local produce, and excellent, fast, and friendly service. I highly recommend it to everyone, whether you're staying in the area or just passing through – don't hesitate!

They were already super nice on the phone when making the reservation. Dogs were allowed. We had a delicious meal. And the service was top-notch.

We stopped by on a Sunday at lunchtime, after 2 pm. The dining room was full, with only two tables left on the terrace. We asked if it would be possible to have a table for four people, including a vegetarian. They welcomed us with a smile, made room for us, and offered us the daily special instead of the regular menu, given the time. My friend had a wonderful vegetarian dish. The portions were generous and delicious, just like the rest of this inn! Thank you, ladies, for your hospitality!

After a walk in the hills, we ended up on the terrace of A L'Auberge in La Tagnière. As a result, we had a wonderful Sunday afternoon. We hadn't made a reservation, but fortunately, we were allowed to sit down. The food was honest, beautiful, and very flavorful. The artisanal iced tea was delicious. We also liked the rosé. We had the set menu. At €29.50, it seemed expensive, but for that price, we had three courses that were particularly flavorful. The service was very friendly. Although there was a language barrier because I didn't know a few words in French, everything turned out fine in the end. I highly recommend dining here.

Down-to-earth, honest cuisine away from the hustle and bustle. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, and the service is very warm and welcoming. If you're looking for uncomplicated, classic food in an authentic setting, this is the place for you. A very solid inn that we highly recommend! It's not "fine dining," but rather the kind of place where the postman and the policeman eat and celebrate their birthdays – and that's a compliment! ;)
