The food is very good but the service is rather casual and above all they resort to a detestable practice - which we thought was a thing of the past - of immediately imposing a table in the worst location when many others are available.

We were drawn to A Mandria di Pigna for lunch after a drive through the mountain villages in the stunning surroundings. We didn't have a reservation, but there was room. On the beautiful outdoor terrace, we enjoyed the shade and breeze on this warm day. We chose the three-course lunch menu with a choice of either. The host was welcoming and explained the menu thoroughly. Wine and water were included. The price-quality ratio was excellent. The veal stew was flavorful and a bit salty, which suited the warm weather. We had a wonderful afternoon here.

20/09/2024: Sadly the coffee was not good (we have struggled to find good coffee in Corsica) but, when we went back for breakfast, what they served was very nice.
18/09/2024: A place with a magical view, very pleasant service and a reasonable rating given the quality of the products served. Not to be missed during your visit to Pigna!
