An absolute gem, beautiful, clean and great service

A very good experience at Nature et Design. Very functional rooms, and the pool is superb. Breakfast is also generous and made with fresh produce. Still, it's a 30-minute walk from Bonifacio, so it's more convenient to have a vehicle for outings and meals. Plenty of parking spaces are available for this purpose. (We rented a small scooter during our stay, which was more convenient.) A warm welcome from the owners, which was very pleasant. Offering packed lunches that can be reserved in advance would be a nice touch, especially with the lovely terraces available. Otherwise, you absolutely have to go into town to eat.

Actually a nice bed and breakfast, actually...communication with the owners was difficult due to language barriers. The location is okay, but there isn't much to do in the area except for Bonifacio. There are no cooking facilities, so you always have to eat in restaurants. Breakfast is the same every day, with no variety. Unfortunately, we had a !mouse! in our room, and their efforts to get rid of it were only moderate. They set up a mousetrap on the terrace (outside). The room was not cleaned or anything like that.

A very well-located guesthouse, 5 minutes from Bonifacio port and 10 minutes from the upper town. Many positive points: - The setting is magnificent, the rooms are nestled among olive trees, making it absolutely peaceful. Access is quite remote but very well signposted. - The swimming pool is very pleasant, with deckchairs and parasols. There's a pergola with mattresses if you want to lie down in the shade. A small drawback is the robot, which is constantly in the water with a hose on the surface. - Spacious rooms with air conditioning and a small refrigerator. - Modern, open bathroom with a large shower and blue lighting, but no small closet for toiletries, so toiletry bags are on the floor. - Breakfast is served on the terrace by a friendly lady every morning. A very well-stocked selection of pastries, yogurts, bread, jam, cheese, and Corsican charcuterie. Great for a night or two, but could use a bit of variety for those staying the whole week like us. However, the amenities are excellent. On the other hand, there's no signal here (with Free), but the Wi-Fi in the rooms works very well. This isn't the case with the TV, which is a real disaster. Only DTT, almost exclusively the France Télé channels, which work fairly well. For the rest, it's freezing and loss of signal every two minutes. We're not here specifically to watch TV, but given the price of the rooms when we booked (€275/night), a little effort would be appreciated to replace an aging, non-connected TV. And finally, we're quite surprised by the reviews praising the owner's welcome. Ours was quite abrupt: "Here's your room, hoping you like it," and that's it. Very little contact afterward (we didn't seek any either, to be honest). For checkout, the same goes, just a "goodbye" to the lady. We've had a bit better experiences, but it didn't really matter to us; it didn't stop us from having a pleasant, peaceful stay.

A family-run inn with the owners on-site, available to help and direct you, recommending great places to visit. A private location with a swimming pool. Breakfast served on the room's balcony was delicious, fresh, and a pleasant experience. A wonderful experience; I would definitely return. Thank you for your hospitality. Isabelle and Sylvain
