A wonderful discovery at Villeneuve Abbey! I came for dinner with a friend at Brasserie Constance and had a lovely time. The setting is magnificent, the dishes refined and delicious, and the service attentive and warm. A truly wonderful experience – I highly recommend it and will gladly return.

An unforgettable family meal at Restaurant 1201, thanks to the quality of the food, the professionalism of the staff, and the beauty of the setting. I will especially remember the sauces, which were a true discovery in themselves.

My review concerns the fine dining restaurant, and I'll keep it simple, short, and to the point: I've rarely eaten so well! Often in a top restaurant, one or two dishes stand out and remain memorable; here, that was the case with almost every plate for us. We'll gladly return when our finances allow!

For a birthday lunch, everything was perfect, from the food to the service provided by attentive staff.

We had dinner at Brasserie Constance and, on their recommendation, arrived a little early to enjoy an aperitif at the Bar de l'Abbaye. We were captivated by the charm and understated decor of both the bar and the brasserie, the friendliness of the staff who were so attentive, and the exquisite taste and excellent flavors of the dishes and wines they recommended.

This was my fourth time at this magical place, having experienced the brasserie, the fine dining restaurant, and the hotel, so I think this review is justified. But why four stars? Because this fourth visit was disappointing… The setting is still as sumptuous as ever, and the cuisine exquisite, BUT this time the place was fully booked, which is fine! And from a profitability standpoint, so much the better, but if it comes at the expense of quality, then we won't be back. We were advised against having a drink at the bar before our meal because they explained it would be difficult to serve 80 people in the allotted time… We felt rushed when they told us to choose our entire menu immediately, and to top it all off, they left us alone at the bar at 11:30 pm. We understand the complexities of restaurant schedules and the burden of salaries, but at a minimum of €10 per drink, I think having a bartender present until closing time should be considered.

A very good meal, with helpful advice. Very generous portions...and a lovely touch for a birthday!
