I highly recommend this restaurant. The team is fantastic, and the service is excellent. As for the food, I enjoy it every time I go. The menu is very varied and the selection is impressive. I especially want to congratulate and thank Céline for her helpfulness, her warm welcome, her professionalism, and her cheerful disposition. See you soon! Josselyne Poncet.

Several meals enjoyed at this establishment over the past 5 years, always excellent, quick and efficient service, competent and pleasant staff, with a special shout-out to our favorite, kind blonde waitress, always impeccably dressed for the local bistro, who treats us like her darlings whenever she sees us. See you very soon!

We are sad that Céline (the blonde) is leaving the department soon. It was a great pleasure and joy to come when she was there; always smiling and in good spirits, always with a kind word. She is a wonderful, very courageous, and super nice person. All the best for the future. We will miss you. Jean-Mi and Patrice.

It's good, the concept is good, and the prices are reasonable. The shop is worth a visit before heading out.

Hotel du Bourbonnais

20/06/2026: Excellent value for money and old-fashioned service: discreet, friendly, and efficient. What more could you ask for? Special mention goes to the meat, which was cooked exactly as requested (and that's rare enough to be worth highlighting).
31/05/2026: A very pleasant hotel and restaurant. A lovely surprise in the heart of Lapalisse. Excellent value for money and a warm welcome.
