08/05/2026: A small inn perched in the charming little village of Mayet-de-Montagne. A must-see for its setting, its cuisine, and the friendliness of the staff and management. The interior is very typical, in the style of an old inn, as the establishment's name suggests, and out back, for sunny days, there's a garden furnished with lovely little tables, perfect for relaxing as a couple or with family. Don't hesitate. Reservations are highly recommended!

04/05/2026: We had a very enjoyable evening at the old inn with a sizable group of 17 people. The beautifully presented dishes blended tradition and modernity, and I particularly recommend the various desserts. The welcome was perfect, with attentive service and a smile throughout. Highly recommended!

18/05/2026: A truly wonderful choice for celebrating our wedding, undoubtedly the best restaurant in the region. We were a little hesitant to go in because the exterior isn't particularly attractive, but once inside, it was a marvel! We were all delighted by the dishes, especially the exceptional langoustine (tartare and seared), the incredible chocolate dessert, and the impeccable, professional service. There's ample space between the tables, a calm and elegant atmosphere—everything is designed for a delightful experience. A superb discovery, 5 stars richly deserved!

The food was absolutely delicious, a true culinary journey to India with authentic and refined flavors. The value for money is excellent! €66 for two, but we left with full stomachs and a taste of new flavors! Absolutely nothing to complain about, it was perfect!

A must-visit in the old town of Montluçon; it's well worth the detour! Visited in 2025, returned in 2026 (2nd business trip). Truly a fantastic place! The cheddar fajitas are delicious! 26/05/2026: I arrived around 12:15 pm. It wasn't very crowded, the atmosphere was calm, and I was served quickly and kindly by Younes, the waiter who took my order. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal; the poached egg American-style was absolutely delicious, not too much at all. I highly recommend it 😊

If you're looking for a place to eat well without breaking the bank, look no further. 🍽️ On the plate We opted for the €18 Thali menu and what a pleasant surprise! The portion size was very generous (we left feeling full, which isn't always the case elsewhere at this price). The flavors were spot on; it's a generous cuisine that lives up to its promises. In my opinion, the value for money is perfect. 🤝 The welcome and service This is undoubtedly the establishment's strongest point. The welcome is simply delightful. You immediately feel welcome. The service, for its part, is impeccable: quick, efficient, and with a smile. You can feel a genuine desire to please the customers. 🏠 The ambiance The place is generally very pleasant. If we were to nitpick, we could mention the lack of a slightly warmer or more elaborate decor, but this doesn't detract from the experience at all. The essentials are all there: it's a comfortable and clean place. In short: A friendly welcome, very affordable prices, and quality cuisine. I'll definitely be back!

26/04/2026: I went there two days ago, it's really very good, even a bit more chicken wouldn't hurt, but there's still plenty to eat. Super fast and efficient service, very friendly staff, the naan are incredible

25/02/2026: My wife and I ate here last night. We went in shortly after it opened at 19.00. We sat on the only remaining table for 2. Service was prompt and helpful yet gave us space when we needed it. We shared a starter of Foie Gras which was excellent . Then we both had the boeuf pave. We had them cooked differently and they were what we wanted. Lots of really fresh bread served too. We had a bottle of chenin for €27. Delicious food, well presented, great service. Looking forward to going back tomorrow night.

12/05/2026: Passing through on a business trip, I stopped at this establishment. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal; the set menu was excellent, and the small dining room where I ate was beautifully decorated. I loved it and will definitely return for a family vacation.
