08/05/2026: A small inn perched in the charming little village of Mayet-de-Montagne. A must-see for its setting, its cuisine, and the friendliness of the staff and management. The interior is very typical, in the style of an old inn, as the establishment's name suggests, and out back, for sunny days, there's a garden furnished with lovely little tables, perfect for relaxing as a couple or with family. Don't hesitate. Reservations are highly recommended!

04/05/2026: We had a very enjoyable evening at the old inn with a sizable group of 17 people. The beautifully presented dishes blended tradition and modernity, and I particularly recommend the various desserts. The welcome was perfect, with attentive service and a smile throughout. Highly recommended!

18/05/2026: A truly wonderful choice for celebrating our wedding, undoubtedly the best restaurant in the region. We were a little hesitant to go in because the exterior isn't particularly attractive, but once inside, it was a marvel! We were all delighted by the dishes, especially the exceptional langoustine (tartare and seared), the incredible chocolate dessert, and the impeccable, professional service. There's ample space between the tables, a calm and elegant atmosphere—everything is designed for a delightful experience. A superb discovery, 5 stars richly deserved!

30/06/2026: Coming from Lille, there's no shortage of pizzerias. But this is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Excellent dough (a real dough that rested for 72 hours), fresh, high-quality ingredients. And all served with friendliness. Well done to the team and the chef! 👍

06/05/2026: A unique and pleasant place with a friendly atmosphere. The (homemade) food is truly delicious, full of flavor, and the tapas/fritters are very easy to digest! The welcome is warm. A must-visit in the old town of Montluçon; it's well worth the detour! Visited in 2025, returned in 2026 (2nd business trip). Truly a fantastic place! The cheddar fajitas are delicious! 06/05/2026: The restaurant promises a very warm welcome and excellent service! The choices are very varied and the atmosphere is very cool! The value for money is excellent! €66 for two, but we left with full stomachs and a taste of new flavors! Absolutely nothing to complain about, it was perfect!

25/02/2026: My wife and I ate here last night. We went in shortly after it opened at 19.00. We sat on the only remaining table for 2. Service was prompt and helpful yet gave us space when we needed it. We shared a starter of Foie Gras which was excellent . Then we both had the boeuf pave. We had them cooked differently and they were what we wanted. Lots of really fresh bread served too. We had a bottle of chenin for €27. Delicious food, well presented, great service. Looking forward to going back tomorrow night.

04/07/2026: The food is generally good, but don't order the fish; it tastes like it came from a school cafeteria. I've had indigestion for three days. I really don't recommend it. On top of that, we were harassed by a homeless drunk while we were eating. It wasn't pleasant at all.

17/06/2026: A very pleasant surprise during my visit to Cusset. We had lunch there one day (the set lunch menu for me, a crêpe for my friend) and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The location is fantastic, the place is very pretty, and the service is incredibly friendly and welcoming. :)
