Al Fornello sur La Madeleine

We came here tonight by chance, but I had seen the reviews beforehand. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely come back when we return to La Madeleine. The 15-minute wait was well worth it.

Very pleasant and efficient team

I'm not usually a fan of takeaway pizza... Once you get home, the lukewarm pizza is of average quality after reheating in the oven. It's completely different at Al Fornello. The toppings (I had the Four Cheese) and the Neapolitan dough are absolutely perfect. I highly recommend it! 👌🏼 Thanks to the team.

We ordered some pizzas to go and they were absolutely delicious! The quality of the ingredients was great, the dough was fantastic and perfectly cooked as well. I didn’t see the restaurant myself but my friends say it’s a lovely place to go as well, so it’s 100% recommended.

Excellent pizza, a pure delight

Great pizza, but the service needs improvement.

This pizzeria is simply the best in Lille! The pizzas are of impeccable quality: the dough is unbeatable, soft, and perfectly cooked, and the ingredients are top-notch. A huge plus: the vending machine! Convenient for pizza cravings at any time. An address you absolutely shouldn't miss. A must-try!

I used the vending machine to buy a veggie pizza and it was amazing. Each vegetable had a truly vibrant flavor. The pizza dough was perfect: thin, with slightly puffed edges, light and crispy—the best I've ever had! The whole experience, from the (short) wait at the machine to the last bite, was enjoyable, at a market price for much better quality.
