We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely come back when we return to La Madeleine.
The 15-minute wait was well worth it.

28/07/2026: My husband and I came for lunch on Sunday, and we absolutely loved La Grilladière (again!).
Everything was exceptional: high-quality ingredients, delicious dishes, and above all, complete transparency about the origin of the food. It's so reassuring to know where the food you eat comes from, and it inspires real confidence.
A huge thank you also to our server, Marwan, who was remarkably kind. Very welcoming, smiling, attentive, and caring, he greatly contributed to making our meal a wonderful experience.
This is without a doubt our favorite restaurant in Lyon. We already know where to go every time we visit. Thank you to the whole team for this fantastic experience!

21/07/2026: I spent the day at the Boscolo Lyon Hotel & Spa. Since the Angelo restaurant was closed, I was recommended Autentik or La Grillardiere AVS. Because of the World Cup final, we arrived late and were greeted by the manager of La Grillardiere.
The welcome was very warm, attentive, and friendly. The meat was very flavorful, cooked to perfection just the way we liked it. The side dishes were generous. The setting is pleasant, and the air conditioning and double glazing are a significant plus during this hot weather. The prices are very reasonable for the location.
We ordered the classic burger, a gratin dauphinois, beef skewers, fries, saffron rice, and grilled vegetable salad.
I highly recommend it.

28/04/2026: The restaurant is closed on weekends, so be aware!
Breakfast is basic and sometimes not very fresh.
The room was almost clean, but there was hair on the bed and the bathroom had mold.
Otherwise, the receptionist was great!
However, the room key was deactivated the very next morning, even though we could have stayed until noon.
26/04/2026: Our second stay was just as enjoyable. However, there were two minor issues. A broken ceiling tile in the room and the breakfast was poorly replenished (even though there were only eight of us in the restaurant, there were no more omelets, ham, sausages, sliced cheese, oranges for juice, napkins, and an empty jam jar). During our first visit, the service had been impeccable. We won't hold it against them and will return, hoping it was just a temporary problem.

10/07/2026: A warm and friendly welcome. We were seated very quickly. A wide enough selection of dishes to make choosing difficult. A brasserie with fast service, perfect for the lunchtime rush.
23/06/2026: A very warm welcome awaits you at Le Romarin! Boussad and Malika are always smiling, friendly, and attentive to their customers. The atmosphere is convivial, and the service is quick and professional. It's a real pleasure to go there. I also discovered VEEV, a modern and interesting alternative. I highly recommend this place!

Our reservation was made by Chantal, who greatly appreciated it. A friendly team welcomes you with unparalleled freshness and quality.
You can sit down, enjoy your meal, and share this moment with friends. Highly recommended. I was already familiar with their home delivery service. A great idea for a pleasant outing; I recommend their business card.

04/06/2026: The black female server in the store just rolled her eyes at us when we asked if they could provide a carry-out shopping bag. Since she was constantly chatting with the Asian clerk next to her while serving us, and we are also Asian, there’s probably no racial discrimination involved at all — she simply doesn’t like us.
31/05/2026: We recommend the croissants and the pain au chocolat bicolore. They are very tasty and properly aerated and crispy on the outside. 5/5. We also got salads that were very good. We also tried the babka pistache and the pain suisse brioche but were not for our taste.
