After weeks of craving Italian food, I finally stumbled upon this restaurant. Luckily, I found Al Vecchio Forno, very close to the French-Italian border. What an unforgettable experience! The cuisine was authentically Italian: pizzas, spaghetti, affogato… everything was prepared with care, generosity, and passion. The servers were friendly and reassuring, making sure everything was alright. The value for money is fantastic; what more could you expect from such affordable prices and generous portions? I was already stuffed! I highly recommend this restaurant if you love Italian food. I would go back without hesitation.

Unreal pizza, beatiful view and lovely staff. I doubt you will find a better restaurant after a day of sightseeing.

We tried pizza napoleotana and Pesto pizza along with wine. Both were really good. The service was really good and we got a table within few minutes of arriving even though few others cut the lane before us and got in. Quantities were really big in my opinion and it wasn't possible for us to try a dessert.

22/09/2024: An absolutely delicious meal for two. However, I took away one star for the 50 minutes of waiting and another for the hygiene which left something to be desired... the condition of the salt shaker was deplorable, the bottle of oil covered in fat, and the pot of parmesan was clearly made several tables before finding ours. Too bad because the cook looks very good!
22/09/2024: 1. The guys are very friendly. 2. They speak English 3. Tasty and quick to prepare. For me this is quite enough for 5 stars and complete satisfaction
