⭐⭐⭐☆☆ 🇮🇹 Italian We've been coming to Menton for years, and every summer we stop at Vecchio Forno because we've always appreciated the quality of the pizza. Unfortunately, however, in recent years we've noticed a decline in customer service. As always, we had booked and asked for a table outside, but for the second year in a row, our request wasn't honored. We also had to wait about half an hour for a high chair for the children. The pizzas were good, made with quality ingredients, but they arrived in very different sizes and looked a bit rushed. The quality of the ingredients is evident, but the attention to detail we remembered seems to be missing. The bill was about €140 for five pizzas, three beers, a Coke, a water, and two sorbets. For this kind of price, you'd expect more attentive service, better organization, and a little more attention to the customer. I'm sorry to write this review because it's a restaurant we've happily returned to for many years. I hope this is seen as constructive criticism, because the potential is there. The pizzas were good and made with quality ingredients, but they arrived in noticeably different sizes and looked as if they had been prepared in a hurry. The quality of the ingredients is still there, but the care and attention to detail that we remembered seem to be missing. The bill was around €140 for 5 pizzas, 3 beers, one Coca-Cola, one bottle of water and 2 sorbets. For that price, I would expect a more attentive service, better organization and a little more care for the customer. I'm truly sorry to write this review because this has been one of our regular places for years. I hope it's taken as constructive feedback, because the restaurant has great potential. At the moment, however, we've had better overall experiences at other restaurants in Menton.

Excellent seafood restaurant, casual atmosphere 🍕🍝🇮🇹, a bit "Italian bordélique" but they're very helpful. The only restaurant that serves after 10 PM in Menton (the others would laugh in your face!). Always packed, but if you talk to the tall, sharp-eyed gentleman, he'll find you a table even if it means having you sit with someone else 😛. Recommended!

The best pizza I've ever eaten.

An absolutely memorable experience by the water. Everything was perfect, from the warm welcome to the impeccable quality of each dish. The freshness of the ingredients is evident. I particularly appreciated the perfectly cooked seafood in my dish, accompanied by beautiful slices of toasted bread that added an ideal crispy touch. The setting is magnificent and invites relaxation. Sipping an Aperol Spritz with this view was the best way to enjoy the evening. A place I highly recommend to all lovers of Mediterranean cuisine.

Excellent cuisine, service and location.

The pizza was very good, as were the fritto misto and the fish soup. And what about the homemade ice cream? Truly excellent!! Fast service, friendly staff, excellent value. We'll definitely be back.
