02/05/2026: Maxim’s de Paris is a true institution, where classic Parisian elegance meets unforgettable dining. From the moment you step in, the atmosphere transports you into another era — refined, vibrant, and full of character, especially with the live music that completes the experience beautifully. The food lives up to the reputation. The chicken dish was excellent, perfectly cooked and full of flavour, while the foie gras is simply outstanding — among the best I’ve ever had. Rich, delicate and perfectly balanced, it truly stands out as a signature highlight. Service is polished and attentive, matching the level you expect from such an iconic place. A restaurant that delivers both on atmosphere and cuisine. Highly recommended for a classic Parisian dining experience.

02/05/2026: Excellent visit to Maxim's! We came for the last seating and everything was truly wonderful: the welcome, the atmosphere, the food. Definitely head to the upstairs bar after your dinner; especially from 1 a.m. onwards, people start dancing and it's great fun. One negative point, however: you're not guaranteed a table in the main dining room. We were given a table on the side, far from the live music, which was precisely why we came. It would be nice to have the option of requesting a table in the main dining room, even if it means choosing a different date for dinner; it's a shame. Also, we were packed in tightly, the tables are very close together, but we expected that. We loved the oysters and the croquettes as appetizers, though we were a little less impressed with the beef fillet. We'll definitely be back!
