Les trois freres sur Paris

Surprising, unpredictable, but seriously one of the most authentic restaurants I've ever been to. The owner is crazy, the food is good, it's not fancy, but it's generous and very friendly. In short, highly recommended.

Delicious, well-prepared home-style cooking, excellent staff, great atmosphere

I've been wanting to write this review for so long because I keep thinking about this restaurant and talking about it, even back home in Austria. I've been there several times for dinner with my family, and the food and hospitality have always been fantastic. You simply feel at ease there. We stumbled upon the restaurant by chance, and you're truly welcomed like a friend with the warmest of touches. The food is wonderful, fresh, and varied. I have another trip to Paris coming up soon, and I really hope I'll have time to visit you again!

If i can deacribe this restaurant with a few words it that it feels like you were served at your home by your mother on a saturday afternoon. Outside the city's glamour this place is so authentic that you greet the other customers like they were your family. Simple, homemade food, super cheap and great service. Definatelly not for the average tourist but for those who favor authenticity over glamour.

I only have photos of the desserts, because the couscous disappeared too quickly, proof that it was truly delicious! A family-run place, with friendly people, a lovely atmosphere and very reasonable prices.

I was warmly welcomed despite arriving late on a Saturday at lunchtime, and I had a really good time in this friendly and unpretentious neighborhood bistro - and the couscous is delicious… I came by chance and carefully noted the address so I could come back specifically on my next visit to Paris.

Coffee in a mood, a morning in the neighborhood with the locals, a bit like something out of a movie, Ronin, the bar scene at the beginning. Great.

EDIT 09/2025: Change of ownership. The food hasn't changed much, but the atmosphere is completely different... the brothers have sold it, and now it's incredibly boring at the bar. The bartender isn't very chatty or a good salesperson... in short, having spent some wonderful days there, I don't think I'll ever set foot in it again, barring unforeseen circumstances. Even drinking Spaggiari at the bar of Les Trois Frères was better back then! 02/2025: Les Trois Frères is still top-notch! A pleasant place to read L'Équipe, enjoy a couple of Casanis beers, or indulge in an excellent couscous. An iconic establishment in the neighborhood, a true public institution.

Best restaurant in the 18th arrondissement, all the dishes are delicious

Just went to the restaurant. Food is excellent and portions are perfect. Staff didn't speak English but we made it work 😁
