Alain Chartier Glacier sur Vannes

Des glaces de très haut niveau. Testez la glace à la fraise de Plougastel c'est une tuerie. Autre chose que chez certains glacier. L'accueil était bon je n'ai rien à redire de mon côté.

Nice place. Very clean. Quality food. The place to be a little further than the end of the port. It's worth taking a few extra steps.

The ice creams are delicious, the setting is great. I've heard people say it's expensive because it's almost the price of a McFlury at McDonald's! Except that the mcflury is brewed in a machine with lots of sugar and the ice creams are homemade, the flavors are all incredible and my diabetic friend can eat it too without having any negative effects while the mcflury she cannot not ! 5€ for two scoops is not a lot to drink. In any case I hope that this glacier will stay there for a long time because it motivates us to go for our 8km walk and eat a good ice cream on the way 🤪

The first time the reception was frosty but we went back because the ice creams were delicious, this time the gentleman was in a better mood (well yes, we all have worries, fatigue and this gentleman is human). Besides, we often go there with our children and he even makes jokes so don't stop on a first impression... he's just a human who doesn't pretend to smile all the time. The prices are reasonable (€5 for 2 scoops is not super expensive when you see the price of the ingredients!). In any case there is real know-how, he knows his job and it is very nice to have a real ice cream parlor on the port. I invite you to taste the lemon basil and citrus verbena flavors which are surprising and delicious 🤤 Come on, I'm going to get myself an ice cream!

Delicious ice cream, very friendly welcome, and super pretty spot. Enjoying an ice cream at La Pause has become my little ritual when I come to Vannes!

Location: 5/5. Atmosphere: 5/5. Service: 5/5. Taste and quality: 4/5. Ice cream is good, but for my taste, it can be improved :) The Citron, for example, had some artificial strop taste. Prices are good (3.2 and 5 Euros for 1 and 2 scopes, respectively). Also, there are plenty of drink choices, which is nice. Parking close is somewhat challenging. But ince you are in the spot, it's a great location just next to the river canal.

Great place! Great welcome! I tasted delicious homemade ice creams with original flavors (like corn for example!) and a perfect texture. Good coffee We also tasted the homemade hot dog 🌭 made with a famous focaccia from La PAIN GRILLE bakery and a quality Frankfurt garnished with caper mustard and or fried onions! Go for it !

Flawless! Delicious ice creams (special mention of mango / passion fruit 😍), to be enjoyed at a great spot along the Rabine promenade, sitting on a table or on the lawn, go there with your eyes closed!
