A mixed bag after a year of new ownership. The food is excellent: the dishes are good, fresh, and beautifully presented, and the waitress's service is impeccable. Unfortunately, the owner's attitude spoils the experience: a very long wait to order, a nonchalant demeanor, and inappropriate attire (leggings and sneakers) for a Saturday night in this setting. The overall quality of service suffers as a result.

We had a lovely time enjoying a delicious dinner. The setting is beautiful, with a lovely dining room and another charming little room at the entrance. The meal was excellent. This restaurant is well worth a visit.

We had a delicious culinary meal; the hostess helped us excellently in selecting the perfect wine to accompany the dishes.

I highly recommend this lovely restaurant in the village of Mittelbergheim. A real gem in my opinion! My family and I had a wonderful time. The staff were incredibly attentive, helpful, and always smiling. The dishes were of high quality and beautifully presented. The desserts were equally impressive, both in presentation and flavor. We were seated inside, enjoying the cool shade, but we will definitely be back to try the shaded terrace :)

I have rarely seen such an exceptional wine list as at Lindenplatzel. Natural wines, orange wines, blends... and each one more delicious than the last. The tuna tartare was a revelation and the best I have ever eaten. The veal for the main course was extremely delicious and perfectly cooked – incredibly tender! The selection of cheeses at the end was also sensational. Add to that the cheerful, relaxed service, which is rather rare in restaurants of this caliber. Thank you for this perfect evening. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Our fourth visit – and it gets better every time!" Lindenplatzel in Mittelbergheim is no longer a hidden gem for us, but a staple of every trip to Alsace. And once again, it completely blew us away! The meal began with a buttery-tender foie gras that melted in our mouths – simply divine. Then came a surprise: fresh sashimi – so perfect and light that you almost forget you're in the heart of Alsace. A true little culinary masterpiece! The baked veal kidneys were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and served with a sauce you just wanted to lick clean. And the quasi de veau (veal cheeks) – wow! Slow-cooked for hours, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and bursting with flavor. This is how meat should taste. But what delights us every single time is the service! Warm, competent, with a twinkle in their eye and a genuine sense of hospitality. Here, you don't feel like a guest, but like a friend coming home. Absolutely well-deserved 5 stars – we'll be back! (For the 5th time 🥂)

What a wonderful discovery this restaurant was! We were eager to try it after its change of ownership. The menu is interesting and original, the wine list is very well-stocked, and the prices are quite reasonable. The dishes, prepared with local produce, are beautifully presented and truly delicious. A real treat! I'm only deducting one star for the service, which was a little slow for our liking: almost an hour between the aperitif and the starter, and about 30 minutes between courses. A minor drawback that doesn't detract from our desire to return.

The dishes are very creative and taste delicious. We enjoyed the evening and were delighted with the fantastic menu, wonderful local wine, the cozy atmosphere, and the very friendly and communicative service. We will definitely go there again.
