I went to Pizzeria Amalfi somewhat by chance, not really hungry since I'd already eaten… and yet, what a surprise!
I ordered the tagliatelle with scallops: absolutely excellent, flavorful, perfectly seasoned—a real treat. My son chose a scallop pizza, equally delicious. My two children opted for the chorizo pizza, and my wife had a garlic calzone: unanimous verdict, everything was truly excellent.
Beyond the food, the welcome was warm and the portions generous. Honestly, I thought I'd just have a quick bite, but it was so good that I finished everything as if I hadn't eaten anything before!
A wonderful discovery, I highly recommend it! 👌

I hadn't been back since the change of ownership. Knowing the pizzas Amalfi used to make when it was run by Italians (who were also very welcoming), the drop in quality is a bit steep, but I think the pizza is still quite good. They just don't have that amazing pizza dough or those authentic Italian ingredients anymore. It's a very French pizzeria in terms of quality, ingredients, and service. A minor disappointment, but that's probably due to the comparison, as it was among the best for years. Best of luck!

The table service was very good, but during Valentine's Day, the kitchen must have been overwhelmed as our three courses arrived at different times, since we couldn't eat at the same time as my daughter and wife. It's a shame they didn't offer any compensation. Otherwise, the meal was fine.

I go back every time to try a new specialty, and I'm never disappointed. Whether it's the pizzas, the pasta, or the other dishes, everything is simply delicious… Not to mention the friendliness of the staff, who are always smiling and ready to chat with their customers!
I'll keep coming back again and again; for an Italian far from home, it's magical.

One of the best pizzerias in Caen. The pizzas aren't huge on the plate, but don't let that fool you—they're very generously topped. Friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff.
