Ambroisie sur Saint-Didier-De-La-Tour

This evening at L'Ambroisie restaurant was an excellent experience. From the moment we arrived until we left, it was flawless! Excellent service, divine and surprising flavors throughout this tasting of six surprise courses prepared by the chef and his team. Even the wine, which I requested be local, was part of the surprise. It was certainly an investment, but a great pleasure to dine at a beautiful table where everything was perfectly coordinated and harmonious. The thoughtfulness extended to pairing the dishes with the main course. I highly recommend this upscale restaurant. Franck

We found the restaurant using Google, it was on our way, we had to get off the highway a little. The restaurant itself and the concept, in my opinion, are simple in design, there was no wow effect. But the staff was very friendly! We only ordered main courses and dessert, but we were treated to appetizers from the chef and additional delicacies from the dessert. The cuisine was delicious, white fish fillet on a thin pastry and a very tasty mille-feuille!

Superb Michelin-starred restaurant, impeccable service, the staff is attentive, even if they're not. Elaborate cuisine, using as many locally sourced products as possible. The setting is very pleasant. It was a gift package, but no one makes you feel it.

Delicious and affordable set menu. Excellent wine list. We had a lovely time in this welcoming place.

What can I say... except that we had a superb time. The food, the service, the location (the dining room and the view of the pond) everything was top-notch.

An excellent experience with a varied menu that combined surprising flavors. A very good restaurant in an idyllic setting overlooking a small lake.

We would like to thank Angélique and André for their welcome and their professionalism. In a magnificent setting on the edge of a lake, we were transported to a cuisine combining local produce and refinement. From visual to taste, everything was perfect. L'Ambroisie deserves its star, I recommend it.

MAGNIFICENT WEDDING ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATED WITH DIGNITY

Nous sommes venus déjà deux fois dans ce restaurant, une belle découverte, un accueil chaleureux agréable, sans être encombrant. Pour un macaron Michelin, nous avons pris deux fois le menu sixservices. Ies deux fois , nous étions enchantés. Ce qui est agréable, c’est la vue sur le lac, la décoration est simple, et surtout peu de couverts par service donc très calme, en revanche je suis peut-être un peu vieille France, dans un macaron Michelin ne plus avoir de nappe même s’il les Tables en bois sont belles, je trouve que ça fait un peu brasserie ….. Le prix des vins est un peu excessif, le pire c’est le café à six euros dans un trois macarons Michelin, je veux bien , là, faut pas exagérer . Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir . Post-scriptum : Sur les deux fois, ni la patronne, ni le Patron sont venus nous saluer pour nous dire au revoir …. À méditer . Bien cordialement.

Nous y sommes allés en couple à l'occasion d'un anniversaire. Pris le menu "Confiance 4 services" à 95€. Commençons par les + : un cadre bucolique superbe (la proximité de la ligne TER ne nous a pas gênés), une salle paisible, bien décorée (en tout cas à notre goût) avec belle vue sur le lac, un service diligent, une majorité des mets très bons issus de producteurs majoritairement locaux, en particulier le boeuf moelleux et goûteux. Quelques bémols malgré tout : des amuse-bouche présentant bien mais sans trop de saveur et des portions un peu minimalistes pour les gros mangeurs. Enfin, et c'est excessivement énervant, des sucres pour le cafés présentés chacun dans un emballage en plastique. Un détail peut-être mais qui fait tâche...
