Our lunch at L'Ambroisie, for my daughter and me, felt like a moment outside of time. Calm. Gentle. Thanks to the attentive, smiling staff, full of thoughtful touches. Chef Taormina's cuisine is bursting with flavor. He even managed to get my daughter to eat duck—an admirable feat! For my part, I was particularly taken with the crab and the apricot trompe-l'œil. As a wine enthusiast, I was delighted by Ms. Taormina's choice of wines to accompany our meal. See you very soon, L'Ambroisie!

Ambroisie is a place where time seems to stand still. On the edge of a tranquil pond, we shared an eight-course lunch that felt like a delicate stroll between poetry and gastronomy. Each dish was a marvel, conceived as a suspended moment, with flavors that resonated with each other like two voices in perfect harmony. L’Ambroisie is that rare gem we all dream of having in our garden… Saturday evening, 6:45 pm, a spontaneous dinner: finding a table seemed like an impossible mission. After yet another rejection elsewhere, chance led us here without us knowing what to expect. Its Michelin star reassured us, and the incredibly warm welcome on the phone convinced us. And what a revelation! I rarely take the time to write reviews, but this time… "let's take the time." It was absolutely flawless from beginning to end. The team, exceptionally professional, took meticulous care of everything. On the plate and in the glass, it was pure poetry, enhanced by the words that accompanied each course of the meal—right down to the delicate "little cake that says goodbye" that we took home. Visually stunning, each bite is an explosion of flavors, a perfectly balanced combination that literally transported me. I hadn't experienced such a culinary revelation since my experience at Les Morainières (which has since earned its second star). The reception was impeccable, the service attentive and responsive without being intrusive. The dishes lived up to expectations. Perhaps a touch of flair could have been added to a few plates. The truffle potato was excellent.

The food was very well executed and the service efficient. We were able to sample the six-course menu. Each dish was well-made, but we were disappointed by the lack of originality. There were no culinary surprises; everything was very traditional in flavor. For the price, the portions were also disappointing. This isn't the first Michelin-starred restaurant we've had the opportunity to visit, but it's the first one where we left still hungry. One small detail: tap water costs €3 per person... for this price/quantity ratio?... A shame.
