Amelia Canta sur Saint-Emilion

We hosted our welcome drinks for our wedding for 80 people at Amelia Canta. They were very accommodating in requesting extra space from the council due to a World Heritage event being on and were very helpful on the day in terms of serving drinks and keeping us updated as to when the bar tab limit was reached. They also let us bring a speaker for us to do a speech and were very quick to put up parasols to cover our guests when it started to rain. I'd definitely recommend Amelia Canta for your drinks event - thank you!

Although in a restaurant that is in the middle of the tourist place, I went at 7:00 p.m. when the people who go to the town for the day have already left. I was surprised by their dishes, preparation and flavors, the service was excellent. And very adequate prices, very good restaurant.

Decent value food in a stunning location - not sure what people expect for these prices (€32 for 3 courses) - okay so it’s not high-end food like the rest of st Emilion’s restaurants - but they all charge accordingly !

Very nice city, like visiting in the Middle Ages. The supervision is very impressive. We ordered duck leg with apricot sauce and a glass of Grand Cru wine. A glass of wine costs €9.50, which is really expensive. Everything cost €28.50. The cellar brought everything quickly. He even brought the bottle with him twice. Once to compare, second time to take a photo. Everything tasted good and cooked properly. I was missing a decoration on the plate, for example the leaves from the lettuce. The tourist place. The prices are very, very, high. We didn't order dessert, but... Grand Cru. was very tasty. Beautiful view of the church tower and monastery. Tips in France are included in the bill. More for tourists The Tualetes are clean. Saint Emilion is very impressive, like visiting the Middle Ages.

The location is perfect as it’s in the centre of the monolithe church in St Emilion. Service was rather quick but they were all over the place. The menu is overpriced for the quality of food. The food was so very disappointing ! Tasteless omelette… Caprese salad was so tiny compared to the price ! The vitello tonato was horrible, veal meat was so so, way too much sauce on top of it. It was disgusting, literally the worst vitello I’ve ever had. Will only have drinks there from now on.
