I don't really understand the negative reviews. I came for lunch yesterday, and yes, you can tell the owner(s) have strong personalities, but that's also what makes it so charming. The meat was good. Authentic atmosphere. A genuine place. We'll be back.

Superb experience. Hubby had steak...absolutely delicious. I had baked casement with honey & almonds which was absolutely delicious. Best meal we've had in St Emillion by far. Highly recommend it

We ordered a mixed platter of cheeses and charcuterie, and an onion soup as a starter, which was excellent. The main course was entrecote, which was delicious. It's worth it!

Probably one of the better bar restaurants in the town, one because of its wonderful unique location but two because the food and wine is excellent. The service was fast, friendly and helpful and the recommendations for the scallop was great. Highly recommend.

03/05/2026: Spent a day exploring St Emilion and found this wonderful restaurant patio. Good selection of wines for every taste and budget but why wouldn’t they when surrounded by vineyards. Good meal options; staff were very prompt and courteous and English speaking which helped.
03/05/2026: A place where we had lunch in the heart of Saint-Émilion. Pedestrian street. Very professional and friendly waiter. Pleasant cuisine.

Fabrique de Macarons

06/07/2025: We made a quick stop here as we were leaving town. Although they are known for macarons, we stoped in for canelés. They were delicious! If we had known how much we would enjoy them, we would have bought more! 😁 Also, the woman who helped us was very sweet and helpful considering our language barrier. Next time we will get both the macarons and canelés!
11/06/2025: The real ones, the only ones, the unique ones are Nadia Fermigier's macaroons. She has the real recipe. I'm from Saint-Emilion myself. I was fooled, thinking they were the same. I bought some in another shop, absolutely nothing to do with them. They keep poorly and the taste, let's talk about it, it wasn't the same at all.
