We ordered a mixed platter of cheeses and charcuterie, and an onion soup as a starter, which was excellent. The main course was entrecote, which was delicious. It's worth it!

Probably one of the better bar restaurants in the town, one because of its wonderful unique location but two because the food and wine is excellent. The service was fast, friendly and helpful and the recommendations for the scallop was great. Highly recommend.

This restaurant stands out because it is located on top of a mountain. The seating is like dining in a cave. The weather was cool today, with alternating rain and sunshine. We ordered beef steak and duck confit. The skin was very crispy and delicious. The chef even came to greet us and chat with us in a friendly manner.

Fabrique de Macarons

06/07/2025: We made a quick stop here as we were leaving town. Although they are known for macarons, we stoped in for canelés. They were delicious! If we had known how much we would enjoy them, we would have bought more! 😁 Also, the woman who helped us was very sweet and helpful considering our language barrier. Next time we will get both the macarons and canelés!
11/06/2025: The real ones, the only ones, the unique ones are Nadia Fermigier's macaroons. She has the real recipe. I'm from Saint-Emilion myself. I was fooled, thinking they were the same. I bought some in another shop, absolutely nothing to do with them. They keep poorly and the taste, let's talk about it, it wasn't the same at all.

06/10/2025: Very nice place to spend a few hours over a great lunch, great menu choise even for my fussy wife, good service and atmosphere.
05/10/2025: What a wonderful lunch. The service was excellent, friendly and bilingual. The menu had the normal regional fare, but also included a pasta and fish dish, along with a vegetarian option. More choice than most of the other restaurants in the town. I had fish of the day, swordfish, in a lemon butter sauce, a choice of rice, pasta or mashed potato. Wonderfully delicate and full of flavours. Max and Emilie the hosts were friendly, enthusiastic and fun . Definitely worth a visit !
