We had a wonderful evening at L’Amphitryon Capucine to celebrate our birthdays. We chose the tasting menu with wine pairings, and everything was absolutely excellent. The wine selection to complement the dishes was perfect! A big thank you to the entire front-of-house team who also contributed to this marvelous evening. The service was impeccable, with wonderful touches. We will gladly return!

A place where you truly feel at home! Once again, we had a wonderful time at L’Amphitryon Capucine, this time with my mother for her birthday. And what a pleasure it was to rediscover this atmosphere that is both gourmet, warm, and family-friendly! As every year for her birthday, the team had a lovely little something special for her, a thoughtful touch that always means so much to us and makes the moment even more special. ❤️ We also particularly appreciated being able to enjoy the air conditioning during this period of intense heat… which certainly didn't detract from the pleasure of a good meal! 😉 A big thank you to Nadine, who always takes such good care of us, with impeccable, attentive, and kind service. And congratulations to Christophe, who once again delighted us with his cuisine that we love so much. Special mention for the Cabécou cheese and thyme confit ice cream, served with fresh goat cheese: a delicious combination, especially welcome in the middle of summer! A real treat. 😋 I always enjoy coming to L’Amphitryon, because here, both humans and dogs are welcome 🐾❤️. And they're not left out: they too get their own little gourmet dish, which they devour with enthusiasm… and of which they usually don't leave a crumb! That's also what I particularly love about this restaurant: beyond the gastronomy and the quality of the dishes, there's this warm and welcoming touch that's so comforting, and these little touches that make all the difference. A truly wonderful place in Clermont-Ferrand that I recommend again and again, and where we will return with great pleasure!

L'Amphitryon is one of Clermont-Ferrand's best restaurants for lovers of both gourmet and original cuisine. The warm welcome and intimate setting allow you to spend a truly timeless moment (with the added bonus of a very tasteful playlist!). You'll never tire of it!

Restaurant open since August 15th! The welcome and cuisine are as pleasant and appreciated as ever. One of the best value-for-money options in town. A reliable choice for a long time.

We had a very nice evening as a family, with a warm welcome, an excellent and sophisticated meal, perfect service and a nice surprise at dessert for my husband's birthday.

Exquisite cuisine bursting with flavor thanks to a chef who truly masters his craft. A pleasant, attentive, and discreet front-of-house team. The reward of an award is within reach, but is that really what the owners are aiming for, or are they simply looking to provide us with a wonderful experience? In any case, from the plate to the moment itself, everything is a pleasure. Go without hesitation!
