Angelina Versailles sur Versailles

This café is not luxurious at all. However, it is the perfect café if you are tired from walking all the way to petit Trianon. Recommended are the macarons and pain au chocolat. All the Angelina cakes are available. Late in the afternoon you can see many vacant seats. The same cafe at Grand Palace is always very crowded.

The staff is very attentive and the food is good, certainly a little expensive but we are paying for the setting which is rather pleasant Special mention for the Angelina iced tea 🥰

Scenic spots usually don't have good food. Spending five hours walking around the Palace of Versailles left you feeling satisfied and hungry. I was hungry when I saw a restaurant on the corner of the second floor. They were selling coffee, cakes and the like. I had no expectations, I just wanted to sacrifice my five internal organs. That knows: Butter toast is like a rich main course, Pan-fried salmon is also delicious and fragrant, Lemon mousse has three different kinds of acidity, without any unnecessary sweetness. Now that I'm satisfied, I'm brave enough to order the noble hot chocolate, which costs 9.9 euros, twice the price of other drinks. How strong, fragrant and sweet will it be? When the waiter served it, it was as thick as pulp. Is it a drink, or is it the spread on the bread? Pour it into a porcelain cup and take a sip. It is not only sweet, but also sour, almost wine-like. Swallow it and savor it. A little tipsy? Who would have expected that he would live to this age and fall in love with chocolate again.

We ate here because we were getting to know the Grand Trianon after going to Versailles, a good place to eat something very simple and continue getting to know the places. We ate Lorraine quiche and chocolates and they were very good.

Pranzo in una location d’eccezione a Versailles, dentro a un salotto storico. Piatti discreti, a mio parere un po’ troppo carichi di burro. Il dolce, purtroppo, non mi ha incantata. Considerando il conto, un pranzo non indimenticabile.

Had a mont blanc and some macarons, both gluten free and absolutely delicious! The prices were a little high, but the food was brilliant so didn't mind. The staff were lovely and helpfully pointed out the gluten free items. Would recommend if you're visiting Versailles 🍮

A cafe near the Petit Trianon inside the Palace of Versailles. The atmosphere outside on the terrace is very nice, but some of the staff members are very racist. Even when I asked for an order, there was no response and silence. Naturally, when I said thank you, they ignored it.

Super good! You eat very rich, staff 10/10. I recommend the hot chocolate and macaroons.

We had to eat something so we saw this restaurant and we approached it. We were welcomed by a non incredibly pleasant waitress that put us in queue, making us hastily decided if we want to go for the restaurant or the cafe'. We ended up at the cafe' hoping it would be faster and cheaper. Once in the cafet we were in a bit shabby place, with an attempt to be elegant and cosy but quite torn at the same time. The prices were not too bad but the sandwhiches offer was a bit limited and sadly didn't really fit our kids taste (or the fact that one of them needs to eat gluten free, and hence took one of the few salad alternatives). The sandwhich per se' was quite ok, the bread was fresh and so the filling. It was tasting alright but it was not anything amazing. We did take also some cakes and I must say that those were delicious. I think probably choosing the cafe' saved our wallet and our time, but made the food selection limited. The desserts were worthy eating, but it would be nice to have some gluten free (or any other special food) alternatives and some better care on the interior and maybe a better system to deal with a lot of visitors.
