The food was inconsistent in my opinion; the cream of mushroom soup was excellent, the broccoli nothing special, the meat very good, however the scallops weren't seared properly, they deserved a second searing...as for the cheese, there were many varieties that lacked character

Beautiful cuisine. The presentation and flavors were both excellent.
The photos speak for themselves.
I love porcini mushrooms and the aromas they release, and here the concentration was truly remarkable.

A feast for the eyes: the setting and ambiance are uncluttered, and the restaurant exudes elegance, simplicity, and refinement from the moment you step inside. Our table overlooked the kitchen, a delightful experience as we watched the chef and his team at work preparing their dishes. The sommelier and waitress were neither intrusive nor overbearing; a perfect balance that respected and preserved the privacy of each table. A feast for the palate: from the amuse-bouches to the desserts, a real surprise: we discovered that Michelin-starred restaurants serve portions that aren't overly generous (though they can be quite substantial), but rather perfectly balanced and proportionate. We didn't leave hungry at all, quite the opposite, and we're certainly not complaining! From the truffled porcini mushroom velouté to the Kouglof (I promise you, try it; I didn't like it before either), there wasn't a single flaw in this meal. Thank you for continuing to maintain this atmosphere and these quality dishes, and we will be back.

Probably the best piece of meat I've ever had, perfectly cooked and accompanied by foie gras and a divine sauce.
The three-course menu was very generous, with superb amuse-bouches (I especially loved the truffle velouté).
The scallops were also perfect.
The sommelier kindly offered us a 2010 vintage bottle for the price of the one we ordered in 2018. An excellent Côtes du Rhône Villages from Domaine du Chapitre.
The service takes a little while to get going, but once it does, everything is perfect. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in the area!

Elegant and generous cuisine. Beautiful, colorful plates. The setting is rather upscale, although a little impersonal. The service lacks a bit of soul and smiles, but was remarkably efficient. Good value for money in the heart of Clermont.
