Eating Greek food was a dream come true because there aren't many options in Lille... we each ordered lamb shank... delicious meat but... served like in a school cafeteria!! Peas with nothing Greek about them... no flair whatsoever, and tasteless multicolored rice... tiramisu not homemade... in short, a big disappointment at Apollon except for one waiter with a permanent smile.

The food was quite good, loved the hummus and the kebab plate. Fries were crisp and amazing…2x fried? Service is typical for area and weather was beautiful, so enjoyed outside. Takeaway possible.

The gyros were good, although a bit heavy with the fries. The tomatoes were a little pale and tasteless for the season (July 2026; in winter, it would be understandable!). The origin of the meat wasn't clearly indicated (I looked but couldn't find it). The prices are reasonable at this deli.

A true Greek experience. They don't just serve gyros. Take the time to sit down and sample the other dishes on offer. It's a delight to find gigantes and souvlaki. The impeccably dressed waiters are incredibly attentive.
