Food tasets good, good prices. For tourists, better if you know the basic French phrases. English communication possible, but at a very rudimentary level. Vegetarian options. Not necessarily vegan options. But for example the poké, if you ask without mayo, is suddenly vegan.

Reviews were right in that this is a one woman show! Owner was nice & we got seated right away. I got the beef noodle soup and asked for less spicy if possible. The soup isn’t like Taiwanese beef noodle soup and had a bit of numbing edge to it for some reason. The noodles and beef were ok though. Average pricing - was a bit disappointed since I really wanted to like this meal. Perhaps I should’ve tried the gyudon instead

Excellent Chinese cuisine. The dining room is small and a bit cluttered, but perfect for lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Plus, the prices are low, the welcome is warm, and the food is home-style. Top-notch.

Cute little restaurant and tea shop. Friendly people who speak great English. All food is homemade. 15€ lunch special is good but is mostly white rice, and no vegetables are included. Includes a free drink or tea. Green tea was fine, nothing special.

13/06/2026: Only one waiter and one waitress to manage the dining room and terrace, and despite the relatively low lunchtime crowd, it was already complicated. There was a mistake in taking orders; another table received something other than what they had ordered. The same thing happened to me with dessert. I admit that the two employees were friendly and accommodating, but that's absolutely not always enough. As for the food, it was okay, but nothing more. And the Wi-Fi wasn't working.
18/05/2026: Amazing risotto and ravioli! Pizza DOP is not to be missed. Great service and ambience. Must visit

Au Chai de l'Abbaye

13/07/2026: The French Onion Soup was really good. Had a toasted slice of bread for the typical crouton. Large amount of cheese. It’s much quieter there than the other cafes close by. . The food portions were large by French standards.
10/07/2026: Best Croque-Monsieur yet, and delicious Salade Nicoise! Also ♥️’d the Marga’Cuja.
