We stopped to take a break, have a coffee and stretch our legs. The gas station in the service area is ESSO, it usually has good prices.
The cafeteria, very good. You can choose the coffee in different vending machines. There is a large store with a wide variety of products. Very clean toilets. Outside there is a covered area with tables to eat in case of bad weather.

I had the breakfast menu for 6€10 and not disappointed. The maxi pain au chocolat is very good and the hot chocolate (small size) with whipped cream is great (although a little too hot 😂).
I recommend going there if you need to take a break at the Saint Rambert d'Albon Est rest area!!

You can take shower if you want for free .

Lidl is just 600 m away from here .
Cross the road from pedestrians bridge if you want to go to lidl
30/08/2024: Short passage to Saint Rambert d'Albon, we decided to stop for lunch. A magnificent discovery, a lovely shaded setting, a very pleasant and friendly welcome, excellent cuisine with fresh produce, home cooking with lots of love, careful presentation, a feast for the eyes and the taste buds are more than titillated. We will return from our village in Drôme des Collines, in order to taste other treats. Daily formula from 17.50 euros.
