Superb guesthouse located at the foot of the Puy-de-Dôme. Excellent welcome, superb 3-star room. Large and comfortable room 😉

We had a wonderful time. The rooms are comfortable. The garden is lovely with a view of the Puy de Dôme. The food was excellent. Thank you to the chef! We thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast consisted of high-quality, local products. A must-visit in the region!

We spent one night there and enjoyed brunch the next day. It was a very pleasant experience; the only downside was our room, which was close to the wooden staircase. We could hear people going up and down (it echoed). The room doors also slammed shut even when we tried to hold them open... perhaps something could be done about that? The brunch, however, was excellent: very good local, organic products. The meal was very generous, with a view of the Puy de Dôme. We will gladly return for brunch.

We ate at the restaurant, a party of four, on the terrace. The ingredients are local. The dishes are very good and the price is reasonable. The service was truly impeccable. Well done to everyone and thank you again for the warm welcome.

Friday, May 8, 2026 As planned, we returned to the Archipel Volcans restaurant for dinner after the May 8, 1945 commemoration ceremony in Rouillas-Bas. We were a group of 28 people from the Aydat Veterans Association and their supporters, and we received a very warm welcome. Some were discovering the restaurant for the first time, and everyone was delighted with the meal we had chosen a month earlier with the chefs. We all had a wonderful time in this unique restaurant at the foot of the Puy-de-Dôme. Thank you to the entire team for the excellent service. Don't hesitate to stop by this superb place; there are times when it's good to take a break with family or friends over a delicious meal. A big thank you to the entire kitchen and dining room staff. We were looking for a restaurant for lunch after the May 8th, 1945 commemoration ceremony, a meal organized by the Aydat veterans' association. So, along with four other members of the board, we came to prepare for this event. Personally, I wasn't familiar with this restaurant located at the foot of the Puy-de-Dôme in the town of Laschamps. How can I put it? I simply loved it for the exceptional setting, the quality of the food, and the warm welcome. The truffade was excellent, as was the nougat glacé for dessert; my friends who were with me also thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a wonderful time in a breathtaking setting with a view of our beloved Puy-de-Dôme. We appreciated the quality of the service and the helpfulness and kindness of a young chef with whom we were able to choose our May 8th menu. I love finding myself in these welcoming places with people who are passionate about their work. I can only recommend this magical place, it's a feast for the eyes and when you enjoy the show with friends over delicious food, then oh time stands still... There are moments that must be savored.

Very fascinating location Personal is warm and kind, food is delicious, room are clean and comfortable . For allergene ( gluten, lactose) management they were very ready to help even if the subject sounds not so common. Magic Sunset beer and amazing Sunrise coffe🥰!

Affordable and good value does exist! Large rooms at reasonable prices.

Our second family stay at this establishment during the April holidays. A very warm welcome, an ideally located hotel, and the perfect half-board option with regional dishes sourced from local producers! The team is fantastic, from Collyne to the chef in the kitchen. Ideal for a stopover or even for a week's stay, which is what we did. Thank you to the whole team and all the best!
