Congratulations on a wonderful opening night! A real treat! Three of us went for a meal and were delighted to be given a lovely warm welcome from Pierre, Tim and the new team. We all chose the gravalax for a starter which was delicious, the mayonnaise style accompaniment was superb. Two of us had the braised lamb shanks as a main and one had the pork cheeks. All parts of the dishes were hot, tasty and, dare I say, luscious! The accompanying bread was really tasty and a little different. The white house wine was emminently drinkable and the service was excellent. Extremely good value for money, we will be back! For photos please see Trip Advisor.

Hearty meal, good service, friendly atmosphere. One small but constructive criticism: the presentation of the rourgoule on a small plate isn't ideal. Serving it in a small bowl or dish would be more appropriate.
