Au Bar Normand sur Domfront

I had lunch today with friends; this little bar/restaurant is really very welcoming, with excellent food. A place worth stopping by 😊

A very pleasant establishment. We were planning to have lunch there, but the terrace is on the street and in full sun, and the interior is surprisingly a bit outdated. Otherwise, the staff were very friendly and professional.

I had a wonderful time at Le Bar Normand. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and welcoming! I highly recommend it. Suggestion: A few more vegetarian options would be welcome :)

Great welcome, local beer and musical atmosphere

We stopped by to try a local beer after our visit to the medieval town. We received a very warm welcome, enjoyed a concert with a choice of songs by a very talented singer, and the alleyway was beautifully decorated.

Excellent find! Ideally located in the historic center of Domfront, a small medieval town at the gateway to Normandy, the Bar Normand is the perfect place to eat. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the church, which has been awarded a Michelin star for its historical significance. The Bar Normand offers all sorts of cocktails (Spritz, Mojito, etc.) and a delicious menu: the pork cheeks and the flank steak with Camembert sauce are a must-try! Finally, its young and energetic staff are incredibly friendly: accommodating, smiling, and helpful, they are ready to make your visit as pleasant as possible 😁

I highly recommend this place. The owner and waitress were incredibly kind, and the food was very good. For a first-time visit, I have absolutely no complaints. You can go there without hesitation; I'll definitely be back. The prices are reasonable.
