Au Boeuf sur Schwindratzheim

Friendly, family atmosphere. Fast and efficient service. Top-notch, attentive staff. Heavy and generous portions, diverse and varied menu. The tarte flambée is excellent; I highly recommend it. I highly recommend this restaurant. Whether you come as a couple, with family, or alone, everyone will find something to enjoy.

A wonderful, authentic village restaurant – exactly what we were looking for. Reasonable prices, fast service, and generous portions. Go for it!

Had a delicious meal and nice people, simply very good !!

A very good place. Somewhere between a brasserie and a roadside diner, but the quality and especially the quantity are excellent. Everything has that homemade, family-run feel. Quality and fast service.

Super countryside generous, genuine, informale restaurant with informale, warm and lively atmosphere. Full of locals (and some travelleera as US) that enjoy George 's genuine restaurant. Come here for a very pleasant lunch or dinner

We are visiting Alsace and wanted to try a tarte flambée, one of the typical dishes of the area. Asking locals, they recommended Restaurant Au Boeuf, in the village of Schwindratzheim. From the outside it looks closed, probably to protect the interior from the heat. But inside it has the atmosphere you would expect to find in a local restaurant of your lifetime. I ordered a tarte flambée au Munster, with this traditional cheese of the region, to take away. Very good! The staff was very friendly and pleasant. While I was waiting, several local and regular customers came in, clearly familiar with the place. It is always a good sign when you see the locals going there for dinner. A good option for local food.

I come whenever I'm in the area...very warm welcome and excellent dinner...I highly recommend it... Enjoy your meal!

George is fantastic! He welcomed us at the last minute with a big smile and lots of good food. A mix of Italian, English, German, and French made everything even more enjoyable. Rustic atmosphere and authentic food with fruits from George's farm 🤩🤩. Superb!!! Highly recommended!!!

Generous portions. We felt right at home! Perhaps just update the menu on the website, but we'll be back. Thank you.

After visiting the brewery in the next village, we stopped for a meal. The food was very good, delicious, and the portions were generous. The owner was fantastic. Well done! I highly recommend this restaurant.
