The best couscous in Paris, in a historic district just steps from Notre Dame. The owner and staff are incredibly attentive. Excellent meat couscous, complimentary kir. 200% quality.

Very cute old world style decoration. I requested gluten free meal, my large group was finished eating a long time before I was even served. I wasn't finished dessert and they were asking us to leave because another group was coming. Less than one hour is not really enough time for a decent meal especially if you're making someone wait most of it for their food. That being said, thr food was absolutely delicious! They created a delightful explosion of flavors while respecting my food requirements. The red wine was also delicious. This makes rating this very difficult. Tasty food! Rushed service, late serving.

We visited this restaurant twice, once for dinner and once for lunch. The Algerian food was delicious; we tried both the tagine and couscous, and the Harira soup deserves special praise. We were also delighted with the selection of Algerian wines. The staff was very polite, and it was a pleasure to chat with them! We also really enjoyed the interior, the atmosphere, and the music. We were traveling with our small dog, and they allowed us to bring it with us. We will definitely return next time we're in Paris. Thank you!

We came in for lunch on a cold and rainy day, hoping for hot and comforting food. The service and atmosphere were very nice but the food disappointing, with vegetables and sauce lacking flavor and seasoning.

Each dish is carefully crafted, flavorful, and generous. The atmosphere is warm, the service is attentive and professional, everyone is incredibly caring, and despite the high quality of the food, the prices remain very reasonable. It's a real pleasure to find a restaurant that so perfectly combines refinement, conviviality, and value. I highly recommend La Marmite, whether for a meal with family, friends, or for a special occasion, personal or professional. A truly unmissable address!
